i got a question about auto updates. if that's turned off...do you still get a fordpass notification that one was attempted, or is ready? or if one is available, does it just let you know and you can 'download now'?
i did the 1.7 fix with the mongoose, but then turned off auto updates. don't really know/remember how ota updates come through. curious if they've tried to push anything since i did that.
This is the pop up when I turn on BC via steering wheel. Does everyone else get this pop up? After this nothing happens., I get the warning message to keep hands on the wheel.
Are you sure you are on a BC mapped highway? Mine doesn't like certain spots on the BC highways I drive every day too. Maybe it's that.
Will you please ask them what those new instructions were, and let us know? Thank you.
I don't know exactly what the new supplement instructions said, but I believe it involved programming of the TCU (Telematics Control Unit). Might have been supplemental instructions found in FDRS for CSP 21G01. I thought they said something about ensuring that the vehicle maintained 12.5V to 12.8V throughout the programing process might have somethign to do with it.

Mine did that when 2.5.1 update installed, BlueCruise didn't start working till update 2.5.2 installed.

2.5.2/2.8.3 is the 6th and final Power-Up update that's required to enable BlueCruise.
2.5.2 is the Power-Up update version for the MachE - 22034_PRODUCT Revision: 364(2.5.3)
2.8.3 is the Power-Up update version number for the F150 - 22095_PRODUCT Revision: 421(2.8.3)

No, I got the 2.5.2 on my F150 as well, that's when BlueCruise started working, I got it in March, then the day after I got 2.5.3, this updated me to 22034_PRODUCT Revision: 364. Then last Tuesday May 3rd, I got 2.8.2, the next day I got 2.8.3, it updated me to 22095_PRODUCT Revision: 421

Correct, that's what I said: "2.5.2/2.8.3 is the 6th and final Power-Up update that's required to enable BlueCruise." But I thought the two sets of numbers indicated the versions for the MachE and the F150.

I don't understand how you got 2.5.3, then went BACKWARDS to 2.8.2 (then up to 2.8.3):
I was under the impression that the first set of numbers were for the MachE and the second set was for the F150.
E.g., The sixth update that enabled BC was 2.5.2 for MachE and 2.8.2 for F150.

This chart has changed since early April, the last numbers weren't there then. I'm thinking Ford is updating there updates. When I got update 2.5.3 in March it also allowed my cameras to work while driving, when I got 2.8.3 last week it said "The functionality of my rear view cameras has been improved" with a list of things like, PIP, and some other things.
