So my ‘21 job 1 truck is at rev 2.8.3 and BC is working fine. I also have received the Trailer Relay Module software update all via OTA. Now in the OTA queue there is a package identified as PowerUp ver 2.1.0 I know it’s there because I have the widget on my phone.
That looked very wrong to me so I disabled OTA updates fearing it mess up my BC and who knows what.
Are you saying it’s just a labeling issue and it’s OK to install the 2.1.0 “update “?
I’m not sure about the data in everyone else’s widget, but mine is inaccurate as all get up. Much of my data in there is just flat out wrong.
Last I looked it says I’m at something like 2.1 when in reality I’m at 2.8.x with BC and cams at speed. But I may be an outlier given all of the issues I’ve had and the fact that all of my recent updates have come from the dealer via FDRS. I think vulnox or another one of the gurus have said that none of that dealer-applied activity is logged into the OTA history system which may be where that widget data comes from.

I’m not smart enough to know where the IOS widget (not Ford Pass) gets its data but so far I have found it to be accurate. The widget shows the correct version of my sync software and things like the software version BB for my TRM look correctly updated after the OTA pushed out by Ford. Here’s a screenshot of the OTA queue from the widget.

OK, I stand corrected. I was a few versions behind on the widget. I just updated and it is showing updated OTA status to 2.8.2, but I believe that to have cams at speed it requires 2.8.3…? Maybe I am wrong on that and it is actually delivered in 2.8.2. Sync is version 22095, so not sure what that equates to.

The widget was recently updated. Apparently Ford changed the login process and it had to be updated to get the data.
I think 22095 is 2.8.3. I don’t remember which version got me cameras at speed.
Thanks for the confirmation. I seem to be out of sync on the reported OTA verses in the widget vs actual. Again, might be due to the dealer updating most stuff and something didn’t trigger the updated status in whatever Ford system tracks that. I seem to have BC and cams, so gonna keep my piehole shut and be happy with what I have!!!
It still wanders in the lane with BC and ACC (whenever lane centering is supposed to be active) so going to take it back in towards the end of the month for an IPMA recalibration to see if that helps.
