I have been trying to figure out if I have received any S/W updates in the 6 months I have owned my F-150. It says it is connected to my home WIFI, and automatic updates are enabled, but I can't find anything that says what updates have been loaded and what they do.
Anyone have any help on where in the menus to check where this can be found?

 

I had an update pushed through. It is visible on the ford pass app. Ford power 17.1

 

Did you recently get this update? How can we see what version we are running? I’m looking in the app and don’t see it anywhere.

 

Same here, I don't see anything on my App and when in the truck the Sync 4 screen just says that the software is up to date.

The mache owners have slowly been getting 1.7.1 as well. Plus they even get a sketch pad, tic tax toe, and a calculator apps!

This update is huge at like 9GB (includes map updates)
It is more up to date matching the software delivered on the newer 2021 F150s.

It also includes CarPlay navigation support in the instrument cluster

I Also hope it's all that's required to activate the cameras while in motion like the newer builds
