Does anyone now if any "non Bluecruise" trucks are also getting recent updates like 2.8.3? Specifically I'm interesting in the rear facing camera when driving. I was going to activate it via FORSCAN but I might wait if it's coming in a SW update.
If you message me your VIN I can check whether or not they really installed a different APIM (because 2 serial numbers will show if they did), I can see what updates they've done and what updates are still outstanding. You can then decide how to approach the dealership based on this because you will have proof of what was really done or not done. Also, let me know the date ranges that the dealership had your truck.

I've purchased 13 brand new Ford and Lincoln vehicles from the same dealership since 2006. Well over half a million dollars worth of vehicles. The dealership itself is great (obviously, or I wouldn't continue doing business with them). But a $70-80K truck that has been in the shop for 2+ months and has a major feature (selling point) that STILL doesn't work as promised or expected 13 months after purchase is far MORE than a first world problem.
I'm willing to trust you that the dealership may be great (everything considered). Since I'm also in SE MI and often cut deals in metro Detroit for healthy, high-volume competition, what is this great dealership whose service department seems to be having one helluva time? Possibly since they've been through the relative equivalent of WW-II over this, I should consider traveling to them if I decide to go the 21G01 route, rather than keep praying for OTA updates to restart.

Once again I'll ask if anybody else had their dealer tell them that Ford intentionally turned off their updates for the better part of a year until they can come up with a fix and that there is no ETA on the fix? Or am I the only one that has been told this?
Ain't been told dat--and neither have I yet ruled out that such is happening to me.
While I have documented my 2m 4d journey getting this resolved, I've asked the dealership to provide any additional details relative to what they did over the last couple days to get over the hump. They did mention some new instructions from Ford that came out in the last few days, but didn't detail. If they share it, I'll share it here.

They told me the same thing on Tuesday and sent me what they got from the Ford Hotline. Not sure if it was the same thing as for roadpilot’s truck or not. It did not work for mine…. Still no BC, but I am up to a newer Sync version now….
This is the pop up when I turn on BC via steering wheel. Does everyone else get this pop up? After this nothing happens., I get the warning message to keep hands on the wheel.
