Would you purchase a car with a carfax showing the oil was changed every 12-14,000 miles.. for 60,000 miles ? Wouldn't be your first choice would it..
Depends on the overall condition but probably not. I would rather see no changes than overdue ones.

I have no idea who this d-bag is but Utah seems to be buried at this time.

Not without a really compelling reason/excuse to ignore it, like a pile of dated receipts showing all the ones they did themselves in between the ones they outsourced.

That's Heavy-D from the Diesel Brothers TV Show. Yeah, we definitely have snow! It's a record year. If there is any luck for me, it is that the Oquirrh Mountain range that I live next to has less snow pack than the Wasatch Mountain range. All of the flooding has been on that side (so far).
Yea, I don't like it either. A little sketchy. Agree noobs, - better if it wasn't reported lol, -
Then there's this, -
No way to tell if Full Syn was used. Personalty, 7500 would be the most I'd go on full syn...and only if it was all highway miles. But yea, it's been said 10,000 is okay WITH the good stuff.
Vehicle auctioned in Vermont, shipped to Kalkaska MI and listed for sale.
Yea CO, - no replacement for proper documentation and receipts. Too difficult to trust who you don't know.
I'm curious why they auction, what's the deciding factor there...perhaps a repo, then auctioned to a dealer ?

I'm wary of all auction cars now, and won't even look at one if it was in a flood/hurricane area.
As for miles on full syn, you can top 10kmi with a good filter. My Mustang had repeated analysis results telling me I could have gone up to 10k at least, but I always changed it at the 1Y mark (~8k). This is irrelevant, though, without documentation. I'd pass on this car, no question.

Sorry, still editing when you replied. But yea , that's the consensus about full syn. Of course how you drive it plays a significant roll as well. Highway miles vs City and short trips in the winter. Can be very hard the oil.. Agree, at least once a year if you don't put on many miles annually.
You eventually pickup a freak common sense about this stuff with age lol.
I done analysis with trans fluid in the past. It was surprising. Haven't with oil yet, generally every 3000 miles was the number or 1 year for occasional driving, shelf life if storing the vehicle.. That's changed of course.
