Well, he thinks he has it all worked now lol. You can't just transfer pinage around from a 4r70w PCM program and get a E4OD/4R100 to work in it. If it were THAT easy.......
You need drivers, calibration and the correct firmware update due to the many changes the 4R100 had through the years. Electronics changed every year or at least every other year for that trans. There's quite a bit to it. You have to delete the 4r70 program and run and run a separate controller. His troubles are just beginning. Yea, he's happy.....for now anyway lol.
He probably did search and came up nothing. I attempted it just moments ago and found nothing on it. Also went to the site where it was figured out long ago and came up with absolutely nothing. That info is gone now, too old I guess. The site must have been deleted the old stuff. Ahhh well, moving on...lol

Sadly, insurance will not bother to address add-ons... and you had no opportunity to pre-scavenge. I hope to get a push-bar someday. But a halogram that makes you look like a semi is opposing the center-line huggers might be as/more useful.
On a gravel road on-base in AZ a pal later said his wife, in his van, ~"greatly disliked" that my wife in my van was hugging the [non-existant] line. I LOL and said SHE had said the SAME Thing! 🤣 We just shook our heads.

Many years ago it was my go-to for tech info. I think I had something like 20,000 posts there...what can I say, I had a lot of questions at the time...lol - Not sure what it's like today, their search engine blows though.

Had an FX4 show up at our local pull-a-part today. Pulled both skid plates off her. In brand new shape too. Sometimes you know just by looking at a truck that it was taken care of, and this one sure was. Good for me. They’re gonna get a coat of paint(maybe bedliner) and under the truck they go!
