Brothers is pretty good to deal with. My last set of 302 headers came with big block Chevy gaskets and bolts. They told me to keep them, and sell them if I wanted (which I did). And they quickly sent out a correct set.

So found a bit that I had bought for another project that looks like it will take the studs off, of course all I have is a 1/2" impact and these bits are 3/8" so bought an Onyx. Hopefully it will get here tomorrow. If it works it will get all but 2 of the studs out (the two that are broken) and let me finish the driver's side at least. Then I still need to invest in some welding tools for the rest of this project but at least have a little time to save up for it.

Is the manifold off now, the broken studs are seized in the head ? How far did you get?

Wasn't able to buy tools while I was married. So now I have to catch up...............................and buy more tools ........................shiney.

JBrew manifold is still on, found one of my removal bits that will bite into the studs but I needed a smaller impact to break it loose so ordered one this morning. If amazon isn't lying I should have it tomorrow so maybe Monday I can get the manifold off. Only 2 of the studs are broken off but all of the ones I've tried by hand/wrench won't move. Hopefully the smaller impact will break them loose so I can move on to the next part of this restoration project.

From what I recall on the drivers side , first time I removed the manifold, I used a Ryobi battery impact with miscellaneous extensions, universals and reducers to get the correct angle....I mean the impact itself was actually outside of the frame rail with all that crap on there lol.

You're not doing a project right if you don't need at least 1 new tool LOL

No motor work yesterday.... only yard work. The F150 did some work for me too. In between all of this, I also loaded it up and took a load to the landfill.

Painted the fence....

Stripped, sanded and repainted these chairs.

Then took 3 trips to get these. 48 of these at 24 pounds a piece made the F150 sag....

What are you making white, a walkway ? I threw down some 18 x 24's and 12x12's last week and got into some poison ivy in the process. The stuff got inside of my gloves. All over my hands, pouring calamine over my hands a couple times a day and being real careful about what I touch with them lol.
