Status update:
I've got all my add on's ready to go, just waiting to see if lil red is done today.
Items yet to install.......sliding rear window and trim, tune up (comp test, coils, plugs and filters, at least), Expy calipers and rotors, rear bumper, radio (android head), and the exhaust. The only long time items is the rear window and the tune up. The bumper and brake upgrades may wait till spring time, unless I get a hair up my butt and decide to do it earlier. LOL. I still have the booster to change also, but with the dash apart, it shouldn't take very long. Finally an oil change. Whew. More than I realized yet to go. Damn. lol

Just got a call from the shop. The truck is on the lift right now. It should be done tomorrow evening. He just pulled it in and is setting everything up to pull it in the morning. The bolts and stuff is already removed, it is just drop and replace now.
After talking to the owner, he is going to give me a 15% discount on labor due to the time it's taken to put it together for me. He's not charging me to put in the rear main seal, or do the flush on the transmission when it is in. At least I save $105. from the original bill, bringing the total to 600. I can live with that.
Oh yeah. The mechanic that had the drum fall on his foot, well it broke 4 small bones in it. He won't be working anytime soon. That will teach them to drive another truck under mine for first repairs. LOL. Karma. `

Thanks for the update. LOL. I gave her my info and told her to get ahold of me if she wants the cup holder. It's about time we got a woman on here.

Been busy at work- our company is converting our coal fired boilers to gas fired- both of our power boilers are down so the boilermakers can do their work- we have equipment down to curtail steam use-1/2 our shop sent up to the paper machines to help their mechanics. We'll be back in our pulp mill shop next week.
It sounds like you have a good company you work for. I may be wrong, but you seem happy with your job. LOL. Sure you are.
That should make the air much cleaner around where you work at least. Coal is so damn dirty, and Nat Gas is so clean. I applaud your company doing this. I'm sure the costs are extravagant, but you and many other lungs will love you in the long run. lol
We have Usibelli Coal working up here for many years. They are the biggest coal company in our state.

Its a huge investment- but, it eliminates the use of alot of old, outdated, expensive, hard to maintain equipment!- from the coal field, the conveyors, bunkers, classifiers, pulverizers, fans, coal pipes, ash systems, compared to no moving parts and no ash or soot!
I've sold a lot of parts for numerous brands of this type equipment. I worked for a HE company parts department during the late 80's early 90's. We had to supply almost every line that Usibelli had, with the exception of Cat, and outsource anything else. It was do it NOW. The cost of down equipment really upset the owners and my boss, so we had stuff sitting at the airport, or on a truck, on it's way by morning, 99% of the time. P&H cranes were the only ones that were feet draggers. They took forever to ship parts, no matter the priority you used for order. Some companies just don't get it, or don't have availability of stock. Not much support for a multi-million dollar crane.
