So I'm reading the what did you do to your truck today from about 3 years ago and White wrote this

"But hey...... if Bruce Jenner just won woman of the year, there should be no reason why Sarah Jessica Parker can't win the Kentucky Derby this year."

I almost got in trouble at work for laughing out loud when I'm supposed to be doing something productive. 3 years late but damn funny White!

AK: Your ingenuity is certainly a gift. As for the offer, it's right up your alley, for sure. Just be careful... if you go up there for too long, she just might convince you to stay for the long haul!

Now that you mention it, no, I haven't seen anything from our Ohio RC-flying buddy. I do hope there's nothing wrong.

Buck0: Jusy one example of the wit that is White.

Hoping one of you thinkers can think outside the box.... I have a JD wo cylinder tractor carb (DLTX34) and for the life of me can't get the main load nozzle out. Tapped it 8-32 and stripped the threads (tap barely bit) tapped 10-32 and nuts kept breaking threads on screws... went 10-24; broke the screw while tightening the nut. Installed a 10-24 threaded rod. Used some sockets to create a makeshift slide hammer and this sucker won't budge! Everyone says it should pop out easy and I just can't! Caught my palm in the slide hammer so I called it a day... and maybe throwin the towel in on this carb!

Oh and it's been soaking with PB blaster all day.

Add heat?

EDIT:
In this video, the poster says he went 1/4x28, and he pried it out rather than trying to shock it like a slide-hammer contraption would. Maybe this helps?

Not sure if that's a good idea?
Cast iron carb with a 3"ish long brass nozzle sunk 1/2" down the carb throat

Try some freeze off maybe? I could be wrong but I think the brass has a higher rate of expansion than the cast iron.

Yep, it does. Might be hard to heat the outside more/quicker than the brass insert. Maybe heat the outside, and then cool the brass with a cold shot, then screw in your puller, and pry it out?
(Work really fast, though.)

The Eaton article is beautiful.

Wow, sounds thrilling, with a little psycho in the mix.

Johnny comes to mind for some reason, -

Jokes aside, what can you do in a predicament like that (?), just wait for it to blow over I guess. Phoning Johnny law isn't a guy thing, but in your case it might not be a bad idea. Hard to say, but man , what a thing to go through. Agreed, wish them the best and move on.
