I didn't get around to taking ours down until Saturday. Not going to lie I kinda miss it.
I also decided to try a cheap exhaust solution before ordering a resonator and took off the "loudspeaker" tips and a length of pipe in favor of after axle turn downs.
They are so much quieter that I was a little surprised. After I get a little towing done I'll let yall know if this was worth the time and effort.
It's definitely winter here. 13* currently, the snow is dry and crunchy, -3 tonight....cold cold.
Jp must be hiding out in the woods, at the cabin maybe lol.
Well hell, he just posted ^^^...guess not lol.
What part of Michigan, JBrew? I'll be driving up to Traverse City on the 26th. Wondering if there's anything I should do to my 97 to prep for the cold? LOL
It's been almost March weather here the past couple days. Fairly warm for January for the highs. BTW - I don't know what the difference between "Mostly Sunny" and "Partly Cloudy" are, LOL. Seems like the same thing.

This time of year, - treat the undercarriage with fluid film first or that 97 may look like swiss cheese by the time you make it back home. They use acidic salt on the roads up here.
Traverse City is beautiful, so is Ludington. Use to do a bunch of sking winters up that way in Charlevoix. We had an old farm house at one time in Charlevoix. We played with dirt bikes on the ice during the day and hit the slopes at Boyne Mountain at night. Very nice country in those parts.
I'm about in the middle of the mitten.
But yea, the salt they use up here is very hard on vehicles. Make sure you wash the underside real good after you get back, that stuff festers.

I plan on thoroughly washing the underside when I get back. What should I spray it with prior to going? Only going for a few days to celebrate my brother's 40th. It'll be my first time up there and I'm pretty stoked to see it. He and his wife love it up there. They have a few snow machines reserved for us so, I'm sure it'll be a fun time.
Not much snow here either. But we do have a lot of yankee comeheres that still do this to their cars every year, complain that there are no boilers in the houses, and keep f'ing up our elections.
You got a bunch of damn yankees in rocket city also?
Rocket City Trash Pandas !!! Awesome name for the team..

Thanks. He mentioned Fluid Film but, I was unsure if it was a colloquial thing like Kleenex is for all facial tissue. LMAO
We don't get a lot of winter weather down here.
That is exactly what my daughter says. She works and is a manager for Calista Corp (think it is Ulista or something close down there by name), they do the military rebuilds there in Huntsville. Both she and her husband work for the Alaska native corporation and make good bank from it.
