Yeah... the "activists" are all upset about all of the shots fired. When you're a cop in that situation, you have to remember that only one of you is going home that night. Make it you.

The suspect had been in several altercations throughout the day around the valley.... and he also had a known history of violence. If I know that as a cop, I'm going in guns blazing.

This Mustang, right now the engine is torn down and my uncle has the parts to rebuild the engine. New crank, piston (and rings,) starter, maybe water pump, and probably alternator. Lost oil pressure and spun a bearing on it.

Now if real life would quit interfering I might get it running this year. Wanted it done before summer started but stuff keeps happening that I hadn't planned for.

I bought it from my grandfather after he restored it for what he had in parts on it and loved driving it. The ex wife spent our entire marriage demanding I sell it and give her the money. Kind of want to have her running again to go to car shows for fun. Has a 302 bored .30 over and will smoke em if I didn't mind replacing tires regularly. Miss my weekly (during nice weather) drives.

Found the box from my pioneers. (The ford speakers are in there). I've been happy with them, they haven't blown even with cranking them up cz I love to hear the sub.

That's a beautiful car, Aragorn. I procrastinated all winter, and now that spring is just about here, I'm pushing to get mine back together. I'm replacing the plugs, making up a set of new MSD wires, installing a belt tensioner for the supercharger (which is turning out to be a bigger thing that it should have been), and changing out the stamped steel valve covers for Fox ones. My project is far less involved than yours, but it's still hard to drive when it looks like this presently.

I have everything but the new (longer) bolts for the VC's, so have no excuse but finding time to make it happen, now.

Did you cut the baffle out of the passenger side cover, Ohio? If you have aftermarket rocker arms (which I am sure you do) then they might come in contact with the baffle.

Nice Ohio, the engine looked like this the last time it ran:

Worked on it some with my uncle back in November when we discovered the damage to the crank and the piston. He also tested the starter and sparks flew then had a death in the family, holidays, and a bunch of other stuff happen. Need to talk to him and find out when he's available but have to get the truck fixed first so I can tow it back. Main goal was to get her running again but I'd still have to do the gas tank/lines, brakes, and tires.

Not yet, and I may not have to. I'm using '93 VC's, which eliminated the need to grind out internal bosses, and have been said to fit without baffle mods, at least with the FMS 1.6 rockers I have. I've test fit that side with a Fel Pro 1645 gasket (5/16" thick), and felt no interference, but of course, that was static. Once I get my bolts, I'll install a few (very) loosely just to locate the cover correctly, then can crank the motor to see for sure.

Aragon - A big project, for sure, but it will be great once it's done and you're cruizin' the boulevard.

Those 93 Cobra and 94/95 valve covers are ugly as hell.
