Hows it goin guys, - LOL at that clamp on the right... are we a little short on clampage white ? Don't forget about the bench vice, they work in a pinch as well
Hey Brewster! Whatch been up to? Yeah.... I needed one more clamp. I have 6 other clamps, but they are all 3 inch, and this was about 3 3/4" wide. There is actually one more that was not in the pic. I just bought a brand new DeWalt vice a couple days ago.... didn't think about that! LOL.....

No, and in fact, some of that wiring has been moved now. I changed a lot of it today. The builder actually let the Romex lay on top of the damn water pipes and duct work. I can't put this together and leave it like that. (See arrow)
So, I changed that up today. Also added 220V to the garage, and got rid of the previous owners BS with putting 2 feeds (2 different rooms) on the same breaker that was 50 amps. One of them was 14 gauge, and the other was 12 gauge.... so I put the proper breaker on each. I don't do wiring for a living, but I can sniff out shoddy work.
Also going to go to recessed lighting..... and going to put up provisions for a projector. That reminds me.... I need to order up a lawn gas HDMI cable.

Goin good white, have some free time this weekend, decided to check out the travel trailer this weekend and give it a wash for the first time...yea, I've never cleaned thing, not even once lol. I let a friend use it a little over a year ago, they washed it or rinsed it off anyway.
I've neglected the thing big time since plans slowly fell through since purchased...lost interest. I should of never went on that date, woman change everything lol
Anyway, the practically new trailer, still smells as much inside, - just looks like hell on the outside. I mean it's nasty, covered in tree sap and everything that stuck to it. The mold all over the roof surprised me a bit. The lap sealant is damaged in a few places....all my fault of course, for not making any time for it.. So, spent most of yesterday , some of today into cleaning the roof and getting the mechanicals back up to snuff. They were fine, protected, no service needed other than de-winterizing. AC was covered, so the trees couldn't freak their nasty on that thankfully. Yea, almost two days just cleaning the roof lol. Looks like new on top again though, minus a few cracks (more than a few) in the sealant. Going to finish washing her up without laying a hand to it (best way when it that filthy, - trailer has a gel-coated fiberglass exterior) then reseal with anything other than RV products. If it says for RV's, I don't want nothing to do with it...it's all cheap. 3M and GE products only when it comes to sealing. I'll be re-caulking the exterior and probably most of the interior were need be. The caulking they used inside has even yellowed. Man , the manufacturers are disgustingly cheap building these things. So many things they cheaped out on, the list is long. Granted it's a lot of little things which are designed to meet or surpass warranty. But man do they push that to the limit in the RV industry.
But hey, I've never had an interest in this things. As you know , I purchased one for on-site living quarters during construction. Hung onto this long as it still might happen. Had some fun with it one winter though, when Michigan went sub-zero. It survived that much lol.

240 circuits in the USA white. Yea, that's a good ole American thing. Other countries are at 220 or 230. However and I realize it's often referred to 220 and 230 here as well lol.
Holey crap, what were they thinking ! That's a fire waiting to happen. Must of been bedrooms, so yea, they got away with it. That's living dangerously, all it would take is a combination of common factors to occur just once....then it's , hey what's that smell ?
LOL, yea, when I need clamps I never have enough unless I clean both, garage and basement lol.
LOL... you know what I mean, - The thing that is funny is, everyone I deal with professionally calls it 110 and 220... even the GC that I am dealing with on an install in a new building for work. I am putting in a new rack, and even he asked me how many 110 outlets I need.
Speaking of that trailer... where is that at now? Did you take it back to your property? What are you driving nowadays? I thought you were looking at a PSD to replace the 98 at some point because you were giving that sexy 98 to your daughter?

Well found an old guy garage who bent a bubble flare line for me. $30! Got everything hooked up but my union is leaking. Can't get it to quit... I at least have brakes now... the union is a very slow drip so I'm going to drive on it for now and keep an eye on my fluid level. Trying to figure out best way to seal up the leak
2100, how is the Escape now? What did you wind up doing for an alternator? Back in 2009 I saw a wrecked low mile 2006 at the yard and it was cut away enough that the alternator was right there.... so I nabbed it. That is what I put in mine. The old one actually still charged, but the brushes were going bad... the lights flickered at idle. I should probably put new brushes in it.
Well, I finished the framing of the family room last night. Got some mre of the wiring ran too. I think I am going to do these new surface mount LED lights for it.... have you guys seen these? I was looking at them at HD yesterday. These are a little better deal n Amazon though...

That is good to hear. I will probably put 4 up in this room. The two bedrooms that are already have sheetrock have can lights in them, so I might grab some more. The bedroom that I modified to add walk in closet might need one of these in it too. I wired it for a light, and bought a small LED light bar for it already, but this looks like it might work better.
Had the last straw with our icemaker line. Cheap clear poly line was run down into the floor and over to the fridge before the downstairs ceiling was rocked solid. Several pinhole leaks have developed over the years, all of them in the exposed portion, and none causing any damage. The last one leaked through the laundry room ceiling. Grrrr. I'm replacing that cheap chit with PEX run through the back/bottom of the cabinets (I've discovered I don't contort quite as well as I used to), and behind the appliances.
