Hope it works, so you don't feel forced into purchasing a little welder. Good little welders (worth a shiittt) are the Lincolns and Hobart/Millers , at least in a 140. Those are usually 500 and up.

Eh either way I'm probably going to buy one. There are several welding projects I need to do and I can't seem to rely on anyone to do the welding. Might as well learn how to do it because at some point I may need to weld something on the mustang as well.

Learning isn't easy UNLESS you have the hood for it, yea it's all in the hood. If you want to see what your doing, you'll need to invest 300 into a good hood. It's the only way I could push a puddle even for a short distance. A good hood changes everything and is key for good welding. They've come along way in hoods/lense. But yea, not cheap.

I am BEAT. I spent my entire day working in the yard yesterday. Even my rib cage muscles are sore.

I went and got some paver sand from the HD yesterday..... came out and this (see pic) was parked in front of me.... LOL. Looks like a grille from maybe a Chrysler? Shortly after this pic was taken, I saw a Gen 10 towing a camper trailer, squatting REALLY bad, that damn near jackknifed and killed the two guys sitting in the bed. Those drum brakes were smoking really really bad. I have no idea how he got it stopped. Thing was wiggling all over.... all of the stopping power was on the drums because the front was in the air.

From the story above..... he was towing a trailer, coming down this hill.... no front brake. He stopped against the median, just barely missing the pole I circled. REALLY surprised someone didn't die. Guaranteed he had to clean his shorts after this debacle.

The grille actually looks like it fits rather well. That's funny!

Overloaded tongue and no trailer brakes. Smart.

Remember I posted BBK sent out that second set of gaskets?

Holy crap... That's frustrating!

Until I moved out of SLC, I never had an "arriving late" message from UPS - unless the weather was bad. I get them all the time now. It's like they don't care about OTD to remote areas.
