Just FYI, received notice today of an update that will be applied tonight. I am currently at 6.4.0 that was received December 9th. Will report back on the version and any changes

 

It's 23-PU0110-RAD-PS which updates the ACM. It is not part of the 6.x.x series.

 

I got a notice that I will be getting power up priority update 23-PU0110-RAD-PS, Got 22--PU1009-TLC-CSM2 back on Jan 12th. Guess I have a lucky job 1 2021!

 

I loaded, and says: '"This update addresses the issue where radio presets have been affected during vehicle software updates."

Could you check a new to me 2021 F150. As near as I can tell it hasn't had any updates since 2022.

Last OTA you got was 3.5.2 in May of 2023, and nothing since then. The next update you are due is 3.5.3 which is the one that gives you full-screen capability for carplay and android auto. 3.5.3 was first reported in September of 2022, so you truck is a bit behind on updates, but your truck is well past the point where 2021's were known to get stuck not getting updates, so that's good. There is now way to know when the next update will be sent to you and there is no way to force the server to send you an update. Calling Ford is a waste of time.

 

Hi, relatively new to the FDRS game, I believe I have updated all of the available modules for the truck, but still haven’t got a new software update? Have a missed a step? Or am I being inpatient on this? Thank you.

 

If you updated via FDRS, then the will be nothing to send to you via an OTA update until now updates are available. I'm assuming you updated recently?

Also, using FDRS will not display update details that correspond to your current software level of you go to the update screen on Sync. That screen is only updated via OTA updates.

 

ah, ok, so if I understand correctly - whilst the truck is actually updated, it just won’t reflect on the app / truck because I’ve in effect done it manually and the OTA system doesn’t recognize it? Appreciate the response.
