It's a BCM update designed to fix something, but I am not sure what it fixes. Any of these PU updates that end in "FX" is to fix something. FTDI is a clue as to what it fixes, but I have not figured out what it is yet.

Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere - On my 2023 Ford Tremor - I've been getting the message "Vehicle Unblocked". I'm not sue what this really means - maybe my truck was blocked from software updates, however I did get a recent update. My VIN is 1FTEW1E82PFA45912

PS - My wireless apple carplay has been performing very well with the last few updates.

 

I'm Back....

It has been some 9 or 10 months since I last successfully got an update on my 2021, and I basically gave up on worrying about it anymore.

Today I noticed for the first time in so many months that I had downloaded an update. When I tried to check on the truck screen it would not display any information about the update and if it had completed.
On the Ford App it said I got 24-P0223-VI-RBS2 and states this Priority Update is to improve Connectivity Experience.

The OTA process is little more than unorganized chaos.

I honestly don't recall an OTA update in quite some time.

Just 12 days ago, I updated every single module in my 21 F150 Platinum via FDRS and my Mongoose-Plus. Everything is great. Nothing was left to update.

Yesterday, I got an OTA update 23-PU1009-SS-NS. I thought that was pretty old.

 

No idea what that message entails. You did get a PCM OTA today, but I have no good answer as to what that message means.

You have APIM update 4.3.6 sitting in your queue right now. Start the truck, check for updates manually and let it run for 5-10 minutes. That should be enough to get it to install.

 

Actually this is the update that reflashes the ECU and wiped out the custom tunes a lot of us were using, I have only seen reports of this update being pushed in the last week.
