Anyone know if we are able to update the APIM or enabled the new 75th splash screen on Sync 3 version 3.4 or is there an available update to get the new splash screen? It's pretty cool.

Not that I know of, but Sync 3 is not my area of expertise.

Looks like your APIM was replaced late September last year which got your OTA's going. Since then, you have gotten four updates, but you are still VERY far behind. It is going to take a while before the OTA process gets you caught up. I would look into the Mongoose/FDRS route. Now that your truck is out of the bad software, updating it yourself will be pretty straight forward.

I know you mentioned Sync 3 isn't your area of expertise, but any info or suggestions on getting my vehicle to match the radio? I tried doing several ForScan updates but they didn't take. Wondering if part of the problem is that the truck says As Build Sync 1.1 and my radio says Sync 3 v 3.4 ... Everything works fine, but I don't know if I can update anything seeing they are not registering as the same. Even when I login to Ford Pass it shows that I have Sync updates, but those updates require me to go to the dealer and are for Sync 1.

Not sure, tbh. When I had my 2015 F150, I still worked at a Ford dealer and a buddy of mine in service would do everything for me as soon as something came out. With your VIN, I can try and find out for you tomorrow.

 

Just got my 4th or 5th alert to install 6.8 tonight..... Anyone else keep getting these alerts?

 

Could be a phantom update notice like many have reported. Meaning, you get notice of an update even though there isn't actually an update in queue. I would need your VIN to check.
