I think my truck received some sort of update Friday evening and Saturday morning, when I cranked my truck, I received a "Pre-collision Assist Not Available" warning. It says adaptive cruise not available and only normal cruise is available. However, I actually have NO cruise control at all on my truck right now. Had to drive 6 hours on the highway, pulling my 7k lb travel trailer with no cruise control. That sucked.

The reason I say "I think" it received an update is that my gauges were rearranged and My View was missing some cards. This usually happens to it after an update and I have to add them back. My truck says I have 4.3.4 currently.

Anyway, could this be a strange coincidence that I received an update at the same time my adaptive stuff decided to crap out or could it be related? Anyone else experience this after receiving an update?

Another post on 4.3.4 here.
Looks like this person has a 2021.

They mention that Ford told them the update was recalled.
Not sure what happens to trucks if they successfully installed that update.

Either way, I looked through your vehicle history between now and June, and no FDRS updates have been done to your truck.
Thanks Rugedraw. I'll call and shake them up.

Yes, I think it is the fix for the skipped updates. I edited my response to you to include that earlier.

I'll go in there and help them out.

With your VIN, I can check your recent OTA history and any error codes your truck has recorded in the past 60 days.

The last successful OTA you got was 4.3.3 back on June 26th. Right now, you have 4.3.4 sitting in your queue. If you go to your truck and check for updates, it should prompt you to schedule the install. Like I said before: I recommend this update be done while the truck is connect to to a 10amp+ AGM battery charger.

Attached is a screen shot of the DTC's recorded in PTS that day. I am not a technician, but I do not think it has anything to do with the OTA because the OTA trigger your truck got only downloaded the files.....it has not tried to install them yet. Your truck needs your "permission" to initiate the update.

Ok, thank you very much for this info. So, even though it says "completed" with a green check mark on my screen, it just means the files have been downloaded and not yet installed? This is odd, because I have cameras in motion now that I did not have several days ago.

Did you get an alert on your Ford Pass app that an update successfully installed?
