Correct. With your VIN, I can check if you have any modules with pending updates.

Great, at least I think I’m tracking in the right direction - I think I was confused as the FordPass app still mentioned my last update was back in Oct.

Sure, that would be appreciated: 1FTFW1ED3MFC50443 - hopefully I’ve done it all ok from what you can see?

Oh, yea....you're good. Your truck is on the latest Sync version and you are not showing any modules pending updates at this time.

@rugedraw - Finally, my APIM has been replaced. My software version went from 20262 revision 229 to Version 21146 revision 145 and the auto update screen is available to select a day and time. You had mentioned that when the APIM was replaced to let you know and you would check to see if it was programmed properly. My vin 1FTFW1E88MFA07469. I appreciate ya.

The PMI seems to have ben done correctly. In your "about sync" screen, if the serial number listed there is 1SN145YG, then you should be good to go. Just understand that this does not mean the OTA floodgates are going to open for you and your truck will get all the updates you need to get fully updated in a timely manner. It can still be weeks before you get an update and many months or possibly longer before you are fully up to date.

Thanks for the info. Yes, my serial number in the about sync screen is 1SN145YG. Yes, I understand that a new APIM doesn’t magically bring me up to date. But if I understand correctly it puts me in the position to apply the updates myself. I have access to a mongoose cable and pc. Now I just need to read the reams of infor on how to do the updates.

Oh yea, now you can do it yourself and that is 100% what I would recommend you do. You're looking at 16 hours + worth of updates to get fully updated.

I still have not seen any action on my truck. Do I have any other options to push for an update? I know I was told that I will get the updates when I get it but seems like I may be the only one still waiting for full screen CarPlay.
