I don't have access to FDRS until later to check for pending module updates since I don't bring my laptop to work. However, if they did update the APIM and did not see another one, it is because updates have to be installed in a certain order before more updates will show up for a vehicle. They would have had to update the GWM and/or the TCU to get the next APIM update to show up. Ford does not pay dealers to perform module updates even under warranty. Nobody likes to work for free, so dealers will always be reluctant to help when it comes to these things.

Last OTA you got was 4.2.2.1 back in August. You are missing maybe one or two more of the 4.x.x updates and the 6.x.x updates that come after those. You are not terribly behind.

VIN: 1FTFW1ED5PFA883 97

This week the truck seems to have tried to download 6.8 but so far without success. Sometimes says it failed. Other times it just doesn't happen, even though the "scheduled time" goes by.

Thanks, let me know when you get a chance.

Just like everybody else, it is failing due to your battery not being properly charged:

"groupId":"1""totalLvBatteryCapacity":"58""current LvBatterySoc":"35""availableLvBatteryCapacity":"20 300"

Capacity is not terrible at 58 of 70, but SoC is very low. I recommend you fully charge the battery and try again. If that does not work, fully charge it and reset the BMS and then try again.

Hi rugedraw,
My VIN is 1FTFW1ED0NFA40125. I'm in the Power-Up EAP and was receiving OTAs timely, but my last update was Nov 22nd for the revised 6.2.0 (23-PU1103-NAT-VCE). I've seen a few phantom updates since then (shows that an update is pending, but no messages after the scheduled update time saying that an update installed or failed). I'm guessing that I'm just at Ford's mercy for the next 6.x.x updates, but I wanted to check if there were any issues that you could see.
Thank you for all of your help here an in places!

Yea, you're just at the mercy of the OTA process. The 6.x.x updates were put on hold for a while, but many people have reported getting 6.x.x updates recently, so hopefully your VIN comes up in the OTA lottery sooner than later.

Default No updates since APIM replacement

Rugedraw, it's been a while (October?) that my APIM was installed and updated. Since then not a single update. I notice someone else has posted with the same report. Would you mind taking another look at mine?
Do I need to just break down and go the Mongoose route?

VIN 1FTFW1EDXMFB53269

Thank you -Rex B

You actually did get an APIM update sent in November, but it failed due to a file verification process after it downloaded the files. I can add you to the waiting list to borrow one of my Mongooses if you're willing to wait a bit. Lmk.
