Thank you for the info, I was afraid that was going to be the response. Does Do you know if Ford covers the cost of this? I just bought the truck used about a month ago and it just turned over 36k miles.

Default Success! Maybe....

After almost SIX MONTHS at the dealership, they finally got the 3rd replacement APIM to take an update. They say I'm good to go.
I'm on SYNC 23159, but a few messages back, you said a Job 1 truck should be on 23167?

At any rate, can I impose on you one more time to check my status, and possibly give a report showing my update record or queue?

VIN 1FTFW1EDXMFB53269

I have and use FORScan, but I don't yet have a Mongoose cable. I'll discuss with Santa.

Damn......no, they won't. Ask the dealer to see if Ford will cover it under the "good will" program. I would try to avoid driving it as little as possible in the meantime.

23167 is for 2022/2023 trucks. 2021 will get 23159 instead. I am inclined to say they did everything right, but the Sync serial number in the pic you posted does not match with what Ford has on their servers. Stand by. I am going to ask someone with a lot more knowledge than I have to look at your VIN and make sure the APIM is properly configured to your truck. I will get back to you.

I thought I read in an earlier post that 23159 is the latest for 2021/2022 trucks and 23167 was for 2023 trucks.
Should (or perhaps, could) I be getting an OTA to upgrade my 2022 Job 1 truck to 23167? I was upgraded to 23159 in Sep. Here's my SYNC screen:

Just my luck. Well it’s off to the dealer$hip on Wednesday$. Maybe it won’t cost as much as I think it will, probably more.
Thanks again rugedraw for the help.

Your truck is good to go. The Sync version it is on is correct. Screenshot of your OTA dashboard is attached. The reason the OTA sent to you on 11/3 failed is because your truck already has that update installed when the dealer worked on your truck.

It's possible that I mixed up the years. Either way, 23159 and 23167 is the same update; just one was released 8 days after the other for whatever model year it coincides with. Nothing to worry about in that regard.

FWIW my job1 2021 is on 23167 thanks to your advice getting me past the 4.3.4 SOC hurdle.
