Unfortunately, your truck is on Sync 20301 which is the old bad software known to break the OTA process. The last OTA your truck recorded was in June of 2021. TSB 22-2404 is the correct one to be applied to your case. However, I have seen very few instances where a dealer successfully performs that TSB; most likely due to the cables and time needed to do it. It is easier for them to just say the APIM does not update and order a new one to swap them out. Replacing the APIM will work to get the truck going with updates again (as long as the correctly program the new APIM to your truck), but they are on back-order, so you will mostly likely have to go pick up the truck and take it back when it comes in.
Your TCU seems to be fine as your truck can communicate with the Ford servers. It is very unlikely that the GWM needs to be replaced. This is specifically an APIM software problem. All Sync 4 vehicles will say the vehicle is "up to date" if there is no active OTA trigger in the system for that particular vehicle. To see what Sync version you're on, find the "About Sync" page in your touchscreen settings.
Ford just checked out my truck and did the TSB listed, looks like it needs an APIM, ordered and scheduled repairs for the 31st.
I noticed that some of my presets got changed so I looked today and saw that I had received 6.1.0 and the description mentioned updates to Blue Cruise map expiration. I looked at the subscription date and it now says Hands Free is good until 2074.
So does this mean that BC 1.0 is no longer a subscription service and it is good until 2074? Does it mean that they won't be updating BC 1.0? To me it kinda makes sense based on what the rumors are regarding 1.2/1.3 and being able to execute a pass. If it requires sensors to detect cars ahead and behind at particularly longer distances, it would most likely require more sophisticates sensors that what we have in our vehicles. Frankly, I wouldn't be disappointed if I am not in line for updates and the concession from Ford is to not require subscriptions for existing 1.0 versions.

No one is sure why it expires in 2073, but mine and everyone else's says the same. If you go into your Fordpass account under "connected services", it will tell you the true expiration date there.
BC will continue to be subscription based. Ford has not announced officially that our trucks will be getting BC 1.3, but based on the contents of a few recent OTA updates, it is believed by people that know a lot more about this than I do that not only is BC 1.3 coming to our trucks, but it will be coming sooner than later.
@rugedraw I had a new SYNC update showing on FDRS yesterday so I did it (I have a 23 Platinum) . It was nearly 6GB. my software revision is now 23237_980. Only notable changes I can see is a font change and animations seem a lot more fluid-like
More interesting is they changed the way the Blue Cruise expiration is shown(no longer say expired at all, instead says Blue cruise map version , with a Part number!)
Even MORE interesting is I now have an OTA slated to install later tonight that requires the vehicle to be inhibited for 45 minutes. No OTA activity is indicated in PTS or Fordpass with my last OTA being on 10/9.

The Sync update is known. It's the equivalent to 6.3.0. I did it to mine, too. The update that requires the vehicle to be inhibited* is interesting or not depending on what it is. PTS says nothing? That's weird. What does FDRS show you have pending now if you do a scan? You have to have something there if there is an OTA in queue whether PTS shows it or not.

I will have to check at work tomorrow if there is any pending updates . When I did the updates yesterday to APIM and TCU there were none showing.
I checked PTS OTA queue and it shows nothing currently ongoing.
You had a TCU update yesterday? That was new? Now that is interesting. FDRS shows no modules pending updates right now. Obviously, that without a network scan. Do you still have the files in the USB for the TCU update you did?

I am not sure I do, I will check in the AM if I do , I normally format my USB after every update so it's ready for the next vehicle I need it on. But I believe I can get you PNs for the TCU files and see what is different.

@rugedraw Unfortunately I had already formatted it. But I found the FPNs that were updated.

SU5T-14H020-GE
SU5T-14H085-GE
SU5T-14H241-GE
MU5T-14H090-BAZ(this one seems the same as prior versions, although maybe there could be internal differences)

Thanks. I will run these by the guru to see what he sees and report back with anything interesting.
