Ok, After about 50 tries I got 6.5.0 to install! Then to my surprise, the very second it installed I got another notice that update 2.7.4 was ready to install, it installed no problem! I've never had two updates in one day. Both updates the truck could not be driven.
Interesting that I got an email today offering the 3 year BC subscription at a discounted rate. It says it is for 2021 owners who got the prep package. I am on the line with them now to see if the 2021s will get the updated BC software, because if it won't be implemented on the '21s, I am not going to renew the subscription for SW that wanders in the lane and hardly ever seems to update vie the OTA process. If I hear anything good, I will let you know.

OK, I got the verified BC 1.3 status from the Ford OTA team. I called in to ask some BC questions before deciding to renew my BC subscription. They are offering 2021 F150 owners who bought the initial BC Prep Package (maybe Job 1 trucks) a 3-year subscription for the original $600/3yrs rate versus the new $800/year increased rate that has been reported on the forum. I asked if the 2021s would be getting the BC 1.3, and she said that the 2021s ARE NOT on the list of vehicles planned to receive this update. 2022+ will get the updates. That must be why they offer the cheaper rate since I will be perpetually stuck with the lane-wandering BC v1.0 software... I won't be opting for the subscription renewal.
Also, one other thing she outlined when I asked about the lack of OTA updates. One of the preconditions she stated was the auto headlights need to be turned off... I had never heard this requirement before... Just wanted to pass it along.... Kind of flies in the face of the auto headlights premise of set-and-forget....

@addabob I don't think that is the case that 2021's will not get BC 1.3. If that is the case and we can get BC 1.0 for $600 for 3 years, I will go ahead and subscribe. I am a player at that price. I know once the BC 1.3 updates are out, it will be a short matter of time before the guru's figure out how to get it on 2021 trucks anyway.
Whether they do or they don't get the updates, if your lane-centering is wandering, your IPMA needs to be calibrated. Mine used to do the same thing and that helped tremendously.

I am just reporting what the rep on the Ford OTA line told me, and seems to be buried in some of the articles I have found (MotorTrend specifically says 2022-2023 F150s). I hope it is not the case, but I think it is. The gal confirmed with others before passing along the info to me... The OTA team's number is 833-389-0848. Maybe call them and ask the same question to see if you get the same answer. I would LOVE to pay $600 for the 3 year subscription, with the understanding that BC 1.3 was coming to improve the performance. Otherwise, the $600 would IMHO be a waste of money to just get more of the same, with OTAs that may or may not ever come... It's all good... I am glad I got wind of this before investing the $s for the subscription, so now I can decide if the risk is worth it.
As for the wandering, I have recalibrated the IPMA 5+ times with no real improvement. I still cannot trust it in any traffic at all due to the lane ping-ponging.

I tried to have my dealer do the IPMA alignment twice now and both times they claim that it didn't "wander" in their road test and therefore refused to even attempt the procedure. They probably spent more time on the road test than if they'd just done the alignment but what do I know? (For the record mine has two personalities. Sometimes it maintains the center fairly well, then other times it wants to hug the inside line - yep, hugging to the right when I'm in the fast lane and hugs to the left when I'm in the slow lane.)

The last time I called the OTA hotline, the guy jokingly offered me a job because I was running circles around him. lol I'll pass on calling them again.
I am surprised to hear that the IPMA calibration didn't improve the ping-pong effect on your truck, though.

You can do it yourself with a $35 adapter and FORScan.
Mine is wandering too . I have forscan and got a mongoose (no active subscription to FDRS though). When you say Ipma calibration are you talking the lane assist camera calibration? I have done that 2 or 3 times with no change. My truck can pretty much ride on the line before it turns yellow. When I activate blue cruise it immediately shoots the right lane line then works it way back over.

I did it with FDRS. I have not done it with FORScan, but I know it can be done. I believe it is under the service procedures for the IPMA.
