Now though, I still do not have cameras available at speed.
Many people have reported that. At least one person has reported they can fix it with FORscan once this update goes through.

I have a Lariat with built in navigation that will work as a real GPS after trial subscription. Like your 2020. Traditional navigation system of the past.

Most have lower trim use "connected navigation" that uses Internet for everything and will be a pointless moving map with no navigation ability without subscription.
Built in uses the connected for traffic data but the maps will still work without any future updates as far as I know. It might update with one of the OTA updates but I doubt it since they want subscription money.

So will a 2023 XLT 302A at least have a map that shows where you're at and which way you're going with no subscription?

Checked the charger at 8am this morning and it shut off. (abort mode). Charger manual says to have battery checked. I have an appointment with my dealer on Tuesday to get my 3/4 float rear axles and hubs replaced and to also check the battery. Will let you know how it goes. Did notice a little bulge on top of the battery prior to putting the charger on. It looked like one of the stickers on top of the battery was coming up. when I pushed it down it was like a nickel sized cap under the sticker reseated.
Update: Had axles & hubs done. Told them about 6 failed updates due to low SOC. They had truck for 2 days. Battery and all hardware checked out ok. Said there is nothing wrong with the truck. They tried to manually install while dealing with Ford. Conclusion is it’s something on Fords end and not with the truck. Maybe Ford needs to refigure how to push out some of these updates if so many trucks have problems receiving them.

It is no secret that Ford's OTA process is garbage. However, they sit on a throne of lies. On 8/18, they checked your OTA history in OTS, so they saw the update that was failing and which modules are associated with the failed update. On 8/23, they hooked up the truck to FDRS and performed a network scan, so they saw al the updates available for your truck. They updated the ABS module, but made 0 attempts to update the PSCM and IPMA. Most likely because they know the IMPA update takes hours. Unfortunately, this is the norm and this is what happens when Ford does not pay dealers to update modules. Nobody likes to work for free.

My truck has been at the dealer for 3 weeks now. They said they had to replace the APIM, then they said the new APIM was defective. Had to order another.

I was going here to monitor my software version:
https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/

An it looks like an update has been installed. But, now that I've discovered this thread I am worried they will skip over some updates and I won't get all of the features. I would have been fine ordering the Mongoose and doing it myself, had I known before I dropped it at the dealer. My VIN is 1FTFW1ED9MFB98803 and I'm not sure where it is in the sequence of updates.

OTA history is being recorded here:

The github link is a work in progress, but the F150 Excel sheet attached to my OP is accurate.

I am happy to give you good news. The tech who worked on your truck seems to know what he/she is doing. I see they struggled getting the new APIM configured on 8/8. Your truck is on Sync 22293, so you are close to up to date and now have full-screen android auto/carplay capability. From what I can see, the new APIM was installed yesterday, they ran a successful PMI on it to properly configure it to your truck, and performed many module updates. They update modules that are conducive with activating Bluecruise. If they truck is still there, I would call your service advisor and tell them to perform campaign 21G01 to activate Bluecruise as the campaign is listed as open for your VIN. It looks to me like you're finally getting the truck you paid for.

Wow, you are incredibly helpful. That's great news, and they did tell me they were doing the Bluecruise update when I dropped it off. Reading this thread I was worried I wouldn't get the in-motion rear camera view, which is something I would use, so hope all is good when I get it back. It's still at the dealer. I think I'll still order the Mongoose, seems like a good accessory to have with as much as I already have invested in this truck. Thanks again for your help.

@rstewart2000 When you call your advisor, I would also ask him or her to ask the tech what he/she likes to drink and take a nice bottle to them. Disregard asking them to perform 21G01 because I see now they did it today as well as some more module updates. I know you are new here and may not know what an absolute sh*t show these early 2021 trucks have been in terms of the updates, but the tech working on your truck went above and beyond. Having performed all those updates to my truck myself, I can tell you that they spent HOURS on your truck performing updates, and the tech is not getting paid for all the hours they put in because Ford does not pay dealers to perform the module updates that were done to your truck. They did good by you.

Cameras in motion is part of an OTA that updates the IMPA and PSCM. They performed updates on both of those modules, so you should have that, too.
