Good that you got a dealer to do some updates. Hopefully it resolves the issues.
Camera at speed questions above... with all the updates you can pick the bed or tailgate camera. One of the updates was only one camera and another update added the other. Hit the button on dash above screen and if anything is available it will show up. If you see no camera at all you need more updates. You also get a "card" for the right side of screen for the bed camera only.
Well, I’m looking forward to this update. Ford pass says it’s to do with trailer lights. First time I’ve seen this message on the head unit about a do not drive update.

I did this on my way home... it works. The tail hitch camera is weird. I tried the backup camera and it works too, but it displays a stupid message right in the middle of the screen saying something about how the camera cant be view in full screen but the camera was on at full screen so I'm not sure how to get rid of that message.
Would you be able to check mine? The version and revision are blank, auto update and schedule updates can’t be turned on yet shows everything is up to date. 1FTFW1E8XMFB74075
Dealership just called and said the truck is done. Any chance you could see what updates they accomplished? I haven't picked the truck up yet.
They performed one module update to your APIM which gives you full-screen capability and is the equivalent of 3.5.3. Now you have 3.5.4 in your queue as of an hour ago. Once you start the truck, it will install that update.
They did not perform any of the other updates, tho. You still have a lot of updates pending. The fact that you got them to do anything at all is a win.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your truck is on Sync 20301 which is bad software known to break the OTA process. Without dealer intervention, your truck will never get any updates. You need to schedule an appt with your dealer and tell them your truck has not recorded any OTA's in two years. They need to manually update or recover your APIM from it's current state or diagnose it as faulty and replace it with a new one.

Yep, I'll chalk it up as a win. At least I'll have full screen capability now (hopefully). Looks like it's time to start saving for a Mongoose cable. Thanks again for all of your help.
Hello Rugedraw.
Would it be possible for you to look up my VIN to see where I am with updates? Something tried to update last week, but it didn't go through. I saw it on my display, and before I could click on it to download, it was gone. I have seen a message about "low power mode". Perhaps that is causing the delay.
TIA. 1FTFW1E83MKE54234

OTA 3.5.3 has been sent to you four times in the past 60 days including an OTA trigger that was created 3 days ago. It is sitting in your queue right now trying to download the files it needs. From the looks of it, it is going to fail again, as it is stuck trying to download the last file(s) it needs. This is a VERY common problem with this OTA. There is nothing wrong with your truck and you are not doing anything wrong. Your truck is not recording any DTC's that indication your battery has a low voltage problem. The OTA trigger on your truck is good for another 11 days, so hopefully it can download what it needs before it expires again, but from I have seen, once this updates gets stuck in the download process, it fails.
