I still can't convert miles to km on the screen, however dash display is km and changeable. In other words, the dash and the screen do not synchronize in km's when I want it. Next time when in USA, I change to miles on dash, will see how screen reacts.

I’ll be honest, I’m a little out of the loop on this thread. I know there’s issues with 2021 folks getting the update that allows full screen. Can someone give me the cliff notes on if this is happening to anyone or not?

Also, I’ve seen people posting vins… can anyone shed light on where I stand in this mess?

Your last recorded OTA was back in September. You are a few updates away from the one that gives you full screen capability. Fortunately, your truck is on Sync 22177 which means it got past the hump where 2021 trucks are known to get stuck in limbo and not get updates. Ford's OTA process is garbage and you haven't had any luck getting any updates sent to you recently. There is nothing you can do to trigger an OTA being sent to you. You just gotta wait and hope the the OTA gods shine upon thee.

If I remember the number correctly, I got 2.8.1 on Sept 30th. The first part of Feb I took the truck for a several hour drive and the 3.5.x stuff started loading. In less than a week I was up to date.

 

With full screen CarPlay?

I have an appointment this week for a few different things and TSB 22-2226, hoping this might fix some Sync issues and perhaps even get me updated?

 

You're on Sync 22192, so you aren't too far behind. Ford does not pay dealers to update modules, but in your case, you may be able to get them to do at least the latest APIM update that gives you full screen capability. I say that because OTA 3.5.3 has been sent to you 3 times since January and it has failed to install all three times.
