I had not seen mention of the 2.5.2 update. I am still awaiting 2.4.1. So much for the letter from Ford that said Q1-22 for the BC updates to those awaiting the release from '21 Job 1 trucks...

So, I don't even have 2.3.0. Jeez, I'm never going to get the feature I most wanted (and paid for) in my truck, BlueCruise. WTF is wrong with Ford? Are they only doing 500 at a time? There must be thousands of trucks waiting for this update. This could take another year or more.

Yes, some have got it but very few at this point. My own truck wasn't getting regular OTA updates like most here so I did the FDRS updates that took my job1 truck to that level and I now have Bluecruise.

Well, at least we know the OTAs are there and does work IF you can get the updates. I will just keep thinking good thoughts as the dealership says that there is nothing they can do for me.

A friend of mine has a Job 1 Platinum and I have been watching out for updates for his, he suddenly got a string of them, so they are making the moves.

Yes, those seem to be the OTA 2.3.0 update based on the update ID. Hopefully they are figuring things out and the later updates will start to flow more regularly. Thanks for the info!!

Are you a Ford Technician? Is that how you are able to do this? It looks like if you spend $700-$1000 for the hardware, you still need Ford to give you access to the FDRS software, correct? PM me if you don't want to talk about it here.

I'm new to Fords again so this may be a stupid question. When updating my previous Ram the updates were also slow to come out but you could go to their website and download them to a flash drive then install them in your truck manually, which is what I did on a regular basis. I guess Ford doesn't offer this? I to am waiting for the updates so I can use the stickers for the pro trailer backup assist.

No, I'm listed as an "independent operator" but that's the same as anyone who pays for the FDRS license would be deemed: https://www.fordtechservice.dealerco...wal_Latest.asp

I've been using a good quality VCM2 clone adapter that I've had for years that cost me about $200 but that particular clone seems to be no longer available. I have a legitimate VCM3 adapter on order but it's been backordered for a while. Lots of guys are buying a Mongoose Plus adapter on Amazon for $500 and buying the FDRS 2-day license and doing their own updates and here's a good tutorial on that: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thre...ing-fdrs.8249/
