4.2.2 just loaded this morning as I left the house for an appointment - 2022 Job 1 King Ranch PowerBoost. 4.2.1 downloaded on Mar 18th.

I also notice some "funny things" with the Android Auto displays that then seemed to go back to my settings. Haven't tried to shut off display while listening to music. However, did notice now when starting the truck the AA satellite map shows on left side of the screen and the small pane on the right side shows the Ford nav map or my turn directions if i have a route on the AA satellite map instead of Sirius/XM view that it used to always show - easy enough to change with one click on the up button. I know - first world problems!! 😂

 

Just checked this morning. When I press the Display Off button, it does what you said. When I press it a second time, the display shuts off and music remained on.

One thing I hadn't noticed before is while driving the bed camera can be on in the small right pane while AA satellite maps is on the left side. Perhaps it was there before and I had never noticed.

 

Technically , there IS a way to get paid on it(bringing all software to date), but they have to get really really crafty and in depth with the repair comments.

Then I'm thinking perhaps it's not the 4.2.2 OTA update. That update just applied to my 2022 Job 1 KR PB yesterday morning and I'm not having the same issue.

 

Correct...this started happening after 4.2.2 OTA update.

 

Oops - typo on my part. I received the 4.2.2 update yesterday morning, not 4.2.1, which I received Mar 18th.

So, what I meant to say was that I didn't have this issue after the 4.2.2 OTA update.

Update: Got a text message that my truck was ready today for the second time after another 10 days waiting for new APIM. Got dropped off, waited. Part not even ordered. Are you kidding me? New service advisor since last one quit. She was very nice and seemed on top of it and was upset too. I know it’s not all dealerships but mine has reached rock bottom. They ordered the APIM while I stood there this time, in stock 3 days to get it. No loaners so another Uber ride home. Who closed the ticket that alerted me it was ready anyway? Even they supposedly don’t know.

 

After a stunt like that, I'd be leaving the dealership with the service manager's personal car...
