I've been trying to figure out why my BlueCruise isn't working. The lane assist works fine but not the full hands free. I only have an interstate near me that is a "Blue road" but I've finally noticed that in my Ford App (android) under the Connected Services, it still shows BlueCruise as Activation pending. I haven't been able to figure out why. (Also nav and ford streaming is still pending, but Alexa is active and working?)
How long of a trial is Alexa normally? Guessing 3 years? Mine expires 6/26/26 even though final prep wasn't done until 7/31/23. How much does this cost after that?
I finally found where I can see what Sync version I'm on. 4.0.23045
I've manually checked for updates, while at home on wifi, and it says up to date. But other posts mention 4.3.5. I see a lot of you also have 2021 models with OTA issues...
I just want to make sure mine is updated to the latest version and I'm getting what I paid for.

Also is BlueCruise a paid subscription? I saw that 2024 Ford was going to switch that? Nobody ever told me this when I ordered my truck and Ford doesn't seem like they've done well at explaining anything!

If there are other pages I should read, please let me know.
Thanks for the help!
Sync 23045 is the latest for your truck. The 4.3.x updates are only for 2021 trucks, so you will not see those. Your truck was built with the latest software and you will not see any Power-Up OTA's until something new comes out.

Go to Ford.com and log in. Go to "my account" and scroll down to "connected services" and click the "manage" button.

What do you see there under Bluecruise?

Ok that kinda makes sense... Ford (as all software companies) should have their own page for release notes for each version of any software they have. The wiki is a great "fix" for this in the meantime. Appreciate the people that keep this up to date!

Online, it shows the same "Activation Pending" for the 3 (BlueCruise, Nav and Streaming) and Active Alexa.
There is no links or buttons to click on under the 3 that are pending. Alexa has a manage button.

The wiki was taken down. It was my fault for updating it and trying to do things the right way. I opened up a can of worms when I contacted wiki trying asking how to cite sources. Once the wiki nerds saw the wiki page, they marked it for deletion. Myself and a few others tried to fight them to keep it up, but it was to no avail.

I agree that Ford should have a list. Because they don't and the wiki was taken down, I took it upon myself to do this. All OTA's are being recorded here:

https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thre...-mach-e.16968/

The Excel sheet in my first post for the F150's is up to date including a priority update that was first reported today. The github link is still a WIP.

I would contact Ford customer service to have them activate your free trial. There may be a way you can do it yourself, but if there is, I do not remember how.

Oh now that you say that I did realize I meant github... and not wiki! whoops.
Regardless, the info being available for the public is amazing work! Just wish it was easier to find (direct from Ford).
Thanks again for the help! Hopefully I'll be in and around the forums more often now that I'm back in a Ford! (Still have my previous vehicle: 08 Wrangler 2 door 6sp but it was time to upgrade to pull the camper easier!)

22-PU1009-PPO-SI was pushed to my truck back on 8/12 a few days after getting 4.3.5 (that skipped over a lot of updates) and failed to load after multiple attempts. Charging, driving, rain dance, etc. all done to no avail. I guess I will see what happens next.

It is failing due to low SOC. You've been around long enough to know how these things go. lol This update is a priority update and not a power-up update, so it does not follow the numerical sequence of the 2.x.x, 3.x.x and 4.x.x updates. You can get this one before the other updates your truck is due with out having to worry about any configuration issues.

I'm not looking forward to this one. It will overwrite my tune and I will have to get updated files from my tuner to re-flash my PCM with the fun stuff.

What options do I have when dealers keep saying my software and maps are up to date but I know they are not. My maps are 2021 and last time my software updated was Feb. 2022. I believe i'm on 2.3.0. I'd like the maps to be updated before the 3 year trial ends. I know apple car play/android auto are way better than Ford Navigation, but it's just the point my system is not updating like it's supposed to and want it corrected.

I need your VIN to check where your truck is at. Ford does not pay dealers to perform module updates, so 99% of the time, they will give you the run around.

Thanks rugedraw, the vin is 1FTFW1E59MFA57075 . The dealer tried doing some updates in fall 2022, but as soon as picked up the truck from the dealer and started the truck there was a message on my screen saying "update did not finish" .

Would you mind looking up 1FTFW1E85PFA72879 and see if it needs updates or what the status is? This is a 2023 that I'm considering purchasing. And if you happen to see any other issues/concerns, that would be great. Thanks.
