The one I use is the NOCO Genius 10A. I had it and thought I might need the higher amperage for the updates so also got the Clore 20A

Amazon Amazon

I have successfully used both The NOCO 10A and the Clore 20A you linked to. Both do AGMs as well as have a power supply mode.

NOCO Genius 10A is the same one I have. Kept my battery up to par through an arduous 13 hour long FDRS update session back in September when I took my truck from 2.7.2 through 2.8.3 and all the non OTA updates that were pending, as well.

Cool. I really like the NOCO products.

I've gotten a few OTAs since I updated my truck with my Mongoose/FDRS, but do you see anything odd hanging out there for 1FTFW1E50MFB04459, @rugedraw ? TIA.

Yea, I keep a NOCO battery jumper on my boat, too. That thing has been a life saver on many occasions. lol

I see 3.5.4 on 2/1, and the 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM BCM update on 2/10. Nothing else in queue at this time. I just manually updated to 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 (plus a CMR update that was in FDRS for me) on Sunday. I am curios to see if my truck gets one of these patches now that I have 3.5.4 as that has been the trend for people that get 3.5.4 via OTA.

After getting over the 2.8.1 hump a couple of days ago, this morning I got "Priority Update 22-PU0727-VI-FXB". Hopefully I am on a roll now to catch up with the rest of the crowd.

Yea, I manually updated to 3.5.4 back on 1/13 and 1/14. A couple weeks later, got an OTA for 3.5.4 ... huh? Then saw it was some additive thing. Then got the 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM the other day. Everything is working, OTAs are coming in, so I'm pretty happy. Worth the $539 plus $50? Sure, why not. LOL.

Default Ford Powerup Software Update GLITCH???

While on a 2 hour trip, stopped at a location up north, 1 hour later ready to go home and all my GPS Favorites GONE and while dash is in KM's, the screen is in Miles to destination.
My Dash configuration was also affected. My Home destination gone. I had to spend an hour reprogramming what I remember was lost. But my dash is while in Canada is KM (metric) but the screen remains Miles (USA) and no where in the settings anywhere to change it. I can live with that but when I go to USA I change everything to Miles (USA) and when back to Canada change everything back to KM's (Metric). Seems like only the dash is changeable but not the large screen!
One notification stated Dynamic screen resizing when using android auto or apple car play... I couldn't care less about that as I hate both of those and that's when all my configuration was wiped to start with and today Advanced Dual Phone update which I think is great (if it works)
Has anybody experienced the above and how to convert the large screen gps back to KM's (metric)? 22 f-150 platinum

Definitely lost favorites and vehicle/screen settings with recent updates. Kind of a PIA. No experience with KM to M changeover.

Losing favorites, settings, stations, etc., can (not WILL, but CAN) occur when APIM is updated. I've experienced it and have read quite a few others experiencing it as well.
