Default Alexa

Fwiw... I Completed the latest apim update via fdrs on Tuesday. As of yesterday, alexa was still pendong in my connected services. I did a reset of fordpass (through sync settings, NOT MASTER RESET) and once I reconnected my app/vehicle, alexa was activated within 2 minutes. Just an update for those who had same issue

I see NO OTA activity, you are on SYNC build 4.0.21136. I see an active recall 22s17 present for reprogramming the Trailer Control Module.

Just installed the latest TCU update without incident. One note: it was a USB update and provided a lot more information on the truck's main display as it was progressing, and popped a message with very specific steps, how long to wait, etc... - things are getting better!

In this image it still looks like music or other apps take up a portion of the screen. Is it possible to go "full screen" with just one app running in carplay? Thanks.

Looks like you asked two questions there, and Rick was right about one. For the other, the parts circled in red do not go away. The display does expand so your map can take the full width.

For Android users, the map will be able to take full width whenever the finish the complete CoolWalk update for resizing panels.

So are you saying that a USB is going to be involved in this TCU update and not OTA? If so, how does the TCU update get to the USB drive? Did you have to use FRDS at all...?

Thanks!!

Wow, I hope not. If a USB update process is required, that seems to infer that all of us non-FDRS folks will be required to go to the dealership for yet another update..... Is this TCU update the equivalent of 3.5.3...? I think that is the one I am due for next as I received 3.5.2 last week. Thanks

I think it is. On the Ford Power Up wiki, 3.5.3 is listed as a TCU update for the Mach E. I know of at least one member (not on this forum) that has gotten 3.5.3 sent to him via OTA and he has an F150. Once more F150 owners start reporting they are getting it, I will update the wiki as I have been little by little as we learn what updates pertain to all Fords and which ones are specific to certain models.

So thank you @over2000lbs and @rugedraw has helped me in the past. Just to give a update. On Wednesday the above listed was completed on my truck. I took it in b/c I was not getting any updates and had the 22B08 recall. From my research I think I was on/or stuck on somewhere in the ford power up 1.7.1 ( My Sync page says I have version 4.0.20262.). Didn't hear anything on Thursday. Today on Friday my service advisor texted me and said " the tech tried to do the 22B08 but it was not allowing us due to low voltage in the battery. We tried hooking it up to a charger and tried to do it again and still wouldn't work. So he tested the battery and it failed. So he's going to install a new one one and then we can proceed".

From my reading on this thread I know low voltage is a common problem with updates. Me and you know this and I'm sure Ford does but I'm happy the dealership is still working through the problem, and doing what they should do and not cut any corners.

Is anyone able to read my VIN again and tell me what they have done the past two days? VIN# 1FTFW1E5XMFA41130
Thank you in advance
