Once you get the gateway(3.5.2) the apim (3.5.3) would be next.

 

Does anybody have a sense of how long between the 3.5.2 and 3.5.3 updates?
I seem to get a few updates, then the well goes dry, then more updates.

 

The OTAs get pushed out in waves is why you see that ebb and flow with updates

 

You are missing 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 (unless you or a dealer updated via FDRS). You received the two small patches you need to get 3.5.2 and 3.5.3. It seems your OTA's are rolling. I would just sit back and wait for them to come in.

 

You may need to get the APIM replaced. I was in a similar situation and it took almost a year for Ford to fix my OTA issues. My truck is downloading updates now little by little. All I really want is to have my bed camera to be able to turn on at speed. I hope everything works out for you.

 

I see the dealership tried to update the APIM unsuccessfully on 10/13, but they have not touched it since then. It is possible that they did open a case and are waiting on Ford Engineering to look into your truck and get back to you. Based on my experience and what I have seen other members go through, I highly doubt they will be able to do anything to help you. Your APIM is already stuck in limbo, so I doubt they will make it any worse.

If they fail to perform the update, there is a possible fix that can be done with a USB drive. @Jesse - Infotainment has sent me some files and instructions that pertain to your particular truck. I will send you a PM with the files and detailed instructions.

 

My APIM took a few months to arrive at the dealer for my truck.

 

My Job1 '21 302a has received at least 6 OTAs just in the past month, including 3.5.2 today. Whatever Ford is doing I hope they keep it up. I really thought I was going to need FDRS to have any hope of ever catching up.
