Curious what mine shows? Been in a few times but the dealer says it keeps failing. They are waiting now to hear back from Ford on next steps.

Finally, after owning my truck for almost two years I received an update. Last night I received 1.4.0. It’s not even my schedule update day. Although it isn’t now on a trickle charger I have had it on one for the last 5 days. I did reset my BMS a week ago. Maybe those two changes allowed my system to update even though the update is over a year and an half old.

Would someone mind checking my status? I’ve got a ‘21 XLT that I got in March of 2021. Last update I think I got according to FordPass is 2.7.4 on November 7th. Hoping that 2.8.1 will be pushed again soon as I have my battery charger on standby. Thanks for the help.

No OTA history in the past 60 days, and your truck us sitting on a very old version of Sync. I see they were able to update you IPC, but updating and performing the module repair procedure on your APIM failed multiple times. Chances are your APIM module is locked out due to failed attempts now, so don't even bother taking it back until 1/20 when 30 days have passed and it unlocks again for another attempt. You could have a faulty APIM that needs to be replaced before you get OTA updates again. The dealer will have to open a case with Ford engineering to properly diagnose it if that is the case.

You were sent 2.7.4 back on 11/7 and it installed successfully. The very day, you were sent 2.7.4 again which it failed; expected since you were already on that software. Since then, you have not gotten another OTA sent to you. The good news is your truck is not stuck in OTA limbo where you don't get updates. You just have to be patient for the rest.

There are not many options. You have to go through a dealer or invest the time and money needed to get the tool you need to fix it yourself.
Yeah I think a trip to the dealer is my only option. Thanks

Then I placed a very large plastic suitcase behind the truck. I got all kinds of warnings, but ended up not stopping automatically and moved the suitcase a few feet. I hate to think if it was a kid on a tricycle...
In addition to items mentioned above, I have noticed a drop in gas mileage since I picked up my PowerBoost truck from the dealer after some module updates. I used to consistently get about 22-23 mpg. Now I'm getting 18-19 mpg and it doesn't seem to go into electric mode as much as before. I can understand the drop during the holidays when the temps were quite cold. However, we're now in the 80s here in southwest Florida. Can it be attributed to the modules mentioned above that still need updating?

Very unlikely as they did the PCM (powertrain control module) already. The other modules you have pending have nothing to do with how the truck drives.

Greetings, all. It seems I have a fairly common problem with my new 2022 F-150. At a minimum, my BlueCruise maps are out of date (expired in September, before I even took delivery, with no updates since). I cannot tell if any other software is out of date. I left the truck with my local dealership (twice!), but they failed to fix it, and I don't think they really even understood the problem. @rugedraw , if you happen to have the time, I would be grateful if you checked out my VIN as well to lend any more info you can to the troubleshooting:
