Software Updates
I wonder if you can go into the truck with FORScan and modify the expiration date. lol
My understanding is that one of the primary goals of the entire OTA experience is to eliminate vehicles having to be brought in to the dealer for SW updates. Many can be applied without downtime, while others require the truck to not be driven. Hence, the OTA scheduling in Sync4. But I'm not aware of any of *these* that can't be delivered OTA.

Respectfully, do you have any concrete information to base this off of, or are you just opining?

OK experts out there, riddle me this. Went to dealer yesterday to get the recalls taken care of. 21S56 - underbody insulation over driveshaft (parts ordered, approximately 1 week), 22S17 - reprogram trailer relay module (completed), and 22S26 - wiper arm replacement (parts ordered, approximately 1 week). Now, I have auto updates scheduled every night starting at 9:30pm. Last night, got home a little later after softball and happened to look at fordpass for whatever reason, and got a message about the update failing and it mentioned the trailer relay. Can I assume that once the recall was complete, there was also some OTA that was waiting on the recall to actually be done. It does say that I should not worry, that it will try again. I am also wondering if it is one of the ones that you cannot be driving for it to update. Any ideas???
Can @vulnox or someone else help check my update status? My VIN is: 1FTFW1ED8MFC64466, I haven't got any updates yet since last October when it was purchased. Thanks!
