Looks like coincidence.

It looks like it already cleared, may have just been low voltage on the battery. Not sure how far you typically drive day-to-day, but may hook up a battery tender or take it for an extended trip if you have somewhere to go for a bit.

My F-150 KR is a Job 1 2022 truck produced on 1/25, but placed on chip hold until 3/24. I took delivery on 4/15. The first screen shot below shows my Sync4 Version 21297 Revision 253.

The second screen shot shows my latest (and I think my only) OTA update info. I'm a bit surprised by this info since my truck was on a railcar from the end of Mar until offloaded on Apr 4 - the date of the OTA. Is it even possible to have received an OTA update while being transport on a train?

Things seem to work well to include BlueCruise. The only issue I have is a Reverse Brake Assist Not Available warning every time I put the truck in reverse, which the dealer is unable to rectify.

Bottom line question - although my Sync4 indicates I'm up to date, am I actually up to date?

Yes, you don't have any APIM (Sync) updates available and your truck only shows two updates available in FDRS - DSM & TRM.

If you want to get rid of that Reverse Brake Assist message you either have to enable it in Settings or disable it with FORScan.

2.7.1 came in this afternoon. That's 2 updates in as many days. Hopefully the activity keeps up.

Thanks - appreciate it. I shut off the rear brake assist function in settings. Now I get the warning that it's off, but that's better then Rear Brake Assist Not Available warning and accompanying dinging.

If I require the TRM update, shouldn't I be part of the recall?

It doesn't appear that TRM is a recall for your truck or it would be listed here under Outstanding Field Service Actions so the dealership would most likely charge you for updating it:

this is what it shows in my Ford Pass Message Center when I got the CEL? You think it is ok to drive since you said it cleared?
