Software Updates
Your truck is behind what most trucks seem to be at on the OTA updates and the last OTA attempt in January failed so if I were you I'd try and get the dealership to do all the software updates listed to bring your truck up to current levels. Hopefully you can get them to do these updates for free considering the OTA history because it will take many hours for the software updates listed and I'm sure that would be a fortune if out-of-pocket.
Can anyone advise what the most current sync 4 software release version is and what power up has formed the latest release. I know the power up's don't seem to follow a sequential order but latest I have is 2.3 and wondering if something has come out after this one circulated. Tks

I've seen guys post that their dealership did it under warranty for free and I've seen others post that the dealership said they would charge for it so I don't know to be honest. I've also seen guys say that the dealership claimed their truck was up to date despite FDRS clearly showing it had updates. I would advise anyone taking their trucks in for the updates to show the service manager the printout of the updates I've posted for them here so that they don't try and claim it's up to date.
Also, after the updates listed are done it's common for additional ones like APIM to then show further updates that seem dependent on the initial updates being done. I've personally done the FDRS updates to my own truck and I've seen this happen first hand.

Thank you. That is where I sit presently as well so hopefully 2.4.1 brings some more functionality. I'm really wanting the ability to have the cameras on while driving but I have no idea what sync version or power up update adds this.
Hey Livnitup, Can you run my VIN in and tell me where my truck is as far as updates please? 1FTFW1E83MFA71094 I can't get that info no matter where I look. Truck or Ford Pass.
