Forgot what they looked like, the 98 hasn't had any for 5 years or so.
Lol, I got tired of scraping the back of my calves and worrying about a tetanus shot...

Yea, they can leave a pretty good gash. Had to cut them out and weld round stock to the edges. It cut down on the hospital bills substantially. It actually looks pretty good, can't tell from the outside....cab seals right up.

I bought these...they didn't fit very well though...had to do some massaging with the persuader (aka BFH) to kinda get the edges to match.

You most likley kept yours on concrete at least. It wasn't until I moved it outside on the grass that it went downhill quickly. The body anyway, still runs like a champ. The kid used it for month or two this winter.

Wow, there is a cool part. They already raised almost double the contributions for the family they were going for. That was fast. Very good people that hang around there.

I randomly had a stumble and stall on Cold start. Since everything that has a wire going to it is new except the IAC, I swapped in a FoMoCo IAC. I hate to parts swap without a diagnosis but the wife is leaving town in the morning and I already had a new one in the tool box. I had to try something since I'm on Kid duty for the week.

The truck stumbled and stalled a few hours ago, but didn't have any issues after the new IAC a few minutes ago. Tomorrow morning will probably be the real test.

It's always something with the truck. I really want to buy something new and then restore the truck but I'm afraid it'll sit in a garage like Jbrews. :P
