But hell, doesn't really need to be coated now a days. Since you can purchase clear zinc in a little bottle w/built in brush. Sort of like touch up paint.
I hear about all this cool $4!T that Menards sells... but the closest location is in Cheyenne. Hmmm..... I wonder if they have a "request a new store" thing I can fill out. I did that for HF, and a year later... there we were.

Started out the day with the intentions of doing a head gasket on my niece's Camry.... this all based off of pictures, and what he was telling me it was doing. It also had a stuck t-stat, which he replaced and it made things much better, but still leaking.

After getting into it.... the plugs had no evidence of coolant, no milky oil, and the antifreeze looked fine as well. No bubbling in the rad.... but it had a steady drip of antifreeze dripping from the motor. We got to a spot where I told my Brother that I was abandoning the head gasket operation because there was no evidence of gasket failure. I took off the timing cover, and found a little antifreeze in there. So I directed my attention to the water pump. My hunch was accurate. Wound up replacing the pump and housing, because it was the same price either way at O'Reilly.

This was the leak:

I finally had a chance between rain storms to wash the '03

...and the Acura, and the ATV, and the lawn tractor, and the mower deck (which is what started it all in the first place!

I scraped out a five-gallon bucket and then another half full of crap that was stuck under the deck. Then I power-washed it. When it dries I'm going to spray (waste?) a can of Slip Plate under it to hopefully help it stay a bit cleaner and encapsulate the rust.

The driver also looks possibly asleep/passed out/dead.

Went out and looked under the Camry that I fixed yesterday. No leaks.... and as you can tell, it leaked a decent amount in the three days it sat there.

If she had Allstate insurance, Than Allstate gets to pay to fix their own office. LOL (but not really).
