Got this son of a gun all done today. I worked outside until the sun went down, then my digits got too cold. BTW, it's too cold to paint.

EDIT.... almost forgot. I finally used my new Vevor welding table today. It's really handy to have things up higher when welding.

Look right to me.
If you load the suspension you need the arch near the end to clear the tie rod and the end looks like it will get far closer to 90 degree angle to the bar links.

Edit;
How it drawn in online parts books too.

Yeah, it was upside down...finished product:

And just so you guys know how cold it was, I took the lug nuts off last night and scrubbed them up a little:

So I'm gonna be taking that header off for welding...since the egr flange was inferior, I presume the header bolts aren't much better....

anyone have a link to a good reasonably priced set of header bolts/studs that they know to be reliable?

It's all back together. I followed Ford Tech Makuloko's video, wrote down all the steps, then had at it. The only thing I'd change from his instructions is waiting on reinstalling the throttle/cruise cable bracket until after the alternator and upper rad hose are back in place Otherwise, step by step by step (33 of them for reassembly).

I won't start it until tomorrow when I can put the cooling system flush in and run/drive it for awhile right away. Besides, Duncan says it's time to quit for the night.

I snagged one of those tables also.
I am thinking of welding up a frame with some casters to raise it up just a little more.
It has me hunching over just enough to bother my back.
Not sure if I am ready to sit and weld, I don't want to set my pants on fire. lol

Thinking of also making a rolling base for this drill press I picked up today.

I don't know about "affordable," but ARP is the de facto standard for fasteners like that, otherwise, I'd probably source them at NAPA.

I'm jealous of that drill press, Phil! I have the little HF press is all.
