That is horrible! Thanks for sharing Ohio.

I saw a little clip that Paul "sent it" hard in his new wrecker at the games, and he broke a soft shackle.... it busted the headlight on Matt's Blue Steel, and I heard did some damage to Paul's wrecker.

So, those softer kinetic ropes can still do some damage too.

Very tragic, kids in the back seat as well.....a nightmare.

That little 2" strap should of snapped before that hitch gave way though...imo. Hitch looked, well the drop looked homemade. It came apart clean, - weld broke most likley. SD's are heavy, mud like that will suck a vehicle in place once you loose momentum and hold it there tight...all the voids/pockets fill around the tires. That's why you see in recoveries like that, the pro's will break suction first if possible. Double winching or placing a spare tire standing up under the rope...then pulling on it.

Bridal hook up and 7/8 Kinetic to yank that beast out.

Very sad.

Seen that too. I think he was doing about 40 when the slack came out of the rope. That was funny. Either the rope was going to break or the load was going rubber band into the back of him. I think Pauls the craziest of them all, entertaining for sure lol.

Matt even had a hard time pulling that.

That's exactly why I like watching Paul, LOL. He is always in "full send" mode.

LMAO... yes. I wish they would have shown the conversation Paul had with him. I'm sure there was some colorful language there. Yeah... he hit him HARD! LOL.

Sooo frustrating.. This is the last bit of rust to clean up on my truck...I hit it up two months ago hoping that it was just surface and left the bottom of the roll pan loose to see if it came back, which, unfortunately it did with a vengeance. So I'm probably gonna have to cut and fill, which is annoying. Question is should I find a clean donor like I did with the bed corner (pic below) or just clean and Bondo it?

I'm going to be doing a shihton of body work on the F150 this summer. Might walk through a wrecking yard or three with a sawzall and see what there is. If not, I'll do what I can to make my own panels.

Oh, they're rockers.

Forgot what they looked like, the 98 hasn't had any for 5 years or so.
