Give Predator 4 Wheel Drive on Nevada a call. They were very helpful when I was sourcing parts for my truck (blocks / U-bolts / shocks).

I've been thinking about/planning a lift for some time. I started thread on it, over a year ago, but didn't get much of a conversation going from anyone with hands-on knowledge. Every time I think I have a plan in place, some new tidbit comes along and completely upends everything. The latest tidbit was seeing a truck just like mine that looked completely ridiculous, presumably on a 6" lift. It might have been more - hard to say - I wish I had followed him and asked some questions. Regardless, that truck looked like your typical "compensating for you-know-what" hillbilly-mobile. It did look higher in the front, so maybe that was ruining it, but half of the pictures I've seen of 6" lifts also look too high to me (oddly, the other half look ok).
There are almost no pictures, that I could find, of trucks lifted by the RCD 5" kit, so I can't really say whether a mere inch makes much difference, visually.
So I was looking for a shorter lift. All I'm aware of any shorter than the RCD 5" is the Rough Country 4", which has that bolted 3-pc. crossmember design. The best looking truck I've found in pictures has the RCX 4" lift with 35s, but I'm not just looking for looks - I need it to hold up off road. RCX is weird because they do have good reviews for pretty much everything but this lift kit, including from my friend back East who's an installer. I was wondering if those crossmembers would not be improved by welding them up. He thought so, but neither of us could find anything about anyone having ever tried it.
Other than that, it seems the only other options are various combinations of t-bar crank and body lift.

You're going up while I'm going down.
I like being a Big truck but the BL creaks too much and I don't think I really need a lift anymore. Rigth now, I'm trying to decide on going back to OEM rubber or Poly.
On the suspension lifts, it doesn't seem to make much sense to me for my application. There is no real extra extension travel from them so the only real benefit is the break angle. If we need the approach angle to be greater, we're using the wrong truck for our fun. The departure angle might be a thing but even on my Overlanding/camping/hunting trips, I never had an issue. These are trucks that can get work done on farm terrain and getting to Deer Camps but not much more spicy than that.. ..unless you go Full Honky Tonk.
If I had to chose a suspension lift, I'd go for the RCD and turn down the T-bars. I would pair that with a set of Deaver custom leaf springs for more articulation and accept the fact that I'd lose max payload and towing. That's a lot of money on a Truck that doesn't even like me anymore though.
