Thinking
If you haven't done a rear axle or ft axle before, then this is not the time to try and learn. I totally understand you want to save money, but To do it right you will need a dial indicator, to set your backlash and shimming. If you notice that there is a shim pack in your list. Those have to be set accurately or you will not be a happy guy.
If you get off too much, your R&P will eat itself up in short order. Too much backlash will cause a major thunk when shifting or reversing. None of this is good.
Remember, this kit does not have a carrier, and you don't know your carrier's condition. You might be spending your money for no reason and have to return to RA. You also haven't shown the axle shaft, where the bearing rides. They can't be damaged either, and something tells me that they have been scared at a minimum.
We try and help get guys/ladies to help fix their vehicles. This to a non-mechanic is beyond the average person's realm of repair. This is not changing plugs or air filters. This is deep mechanics and needs to be done correctly the first time or the costs will be high to repair a second time.
I would hope that GRF would start a new thread on this, and stop here. We've given you everything we know that can be transferred by text. This has wandered into over a week's worth of the same questions over and over. You aren't going to get any other answers here other than what we've given you. Repeating the same questions over and over, rephrased, won't change our answers. Rehashing the same questions has become a bit too much, IMO. I don't mind helping but you have passed the line with your repeated over and over and over questions of the same things. Looking for a better response won't change the information.
Enough with this!!!

Why ask? Why not just try your phone's calculator?!? It's about 15%. You mentioned you used to get 17 to 20 mpg. That would become 15.5 to 18.
Do the math with how far you drive per year. Divide by 12. That can add up to a lot of missing Christmas presents, meat, beer, or whatever.
But everyone has different needs. And, you'd have to do the fronts. I cannot see it as cost effective to change. I have 3.35 and with my tire increase, have effectively dropped it to 3.0.
But DO upgrade to Limited Slip! It made sense to me and the guys here have confirmed it as very positive. Mark it down on your shopping list so you don't forget this detail when calling around!!!

There comes a point when a guy just needs to accept what he's been told. We've been there for a while on this axle subject. Short of calling places to find you an axle, or coming over to install it for you - I think you've been given a lot to work with. It's time to swim.
My estimate also, and was verified.
Acceleration? Probably not noticeable. Same gear ratio. Gas mileage, peace of mind, yes.
It is being said yet again. You seem forget things already said. Start a new thread. This is not the place. I'm betting the end of answers on this topic, here, is at hand. And, don't rebuild yours. It requires attention to detail that we sense is not your strength, and many mechanics here probably thing me foolish to have tried on a first go. But that's my flow, and I have that detailed attention. Plus, your housing may be damaged. Replace as a unit.
Come back here and give us the URL for the new thread. See you then. Bye, for now.
