Just got asked if I want to do repairs to vehicles for a dealer. My Buddy is doing a 4L75 in a GM truck for this guy, and he's also wanting a general mechanic.

I dunno... guess it depends on the pay.

The owner of the Vette and another buddy stopped by on Thursday, on Friday his co-worker called off for positive covid test.

I started feeling crappy on Tuesday, and have had the chills for the last two days.
But I have got the chills beat for the moment. lol

 

Phil, once I got past my fever it was almost done. In fact, with all of the hoopla about how deadly Covid was supposed to be, I only tested after I had a fever. I've been a lot sicker before. When I was about 17 or 18, I had the flu one year and that was by far the sickest I've ever been. I literally thought I was going to die... I had a constant fever for a week straight. Hopefully it's mild for you as well.

I think we are close to 20 people with it at work right now, with a couple of people that are refusing to test for it as to not become "a number in the system", LOL. That's what home testing is for.

I have a couple of the TackLife packs, and they've never failed to work.

I just paid $100 to replace the one I bought in 2016 (different brand) for the truck after the "low-voltage override" failed to stay engaged. Now I wish I had waited. My new one is 24,000 mAH, but 18,000 would have been sufficient. I'm still within the return window, but just wouldn't feel right sending it back.

 

Apparently my schizophrenia is kicking in again. I'd better go take my meds.
