Did you notice how shade-tree the guy was doing the alternator rebuild. He did good, but there is no way in hell I'd let this guy work on my truck or car. The power strg puller is a nice touch (done that one myself), overall he was just a back yard mechanic. Not that that is bad, but he was just a messy guy overall. LOL

Yeah, shade tree kind of mumbles too. Had to turn the volume way up to hear him.
How much does a mic cost?
I did notice he must have a sponsor, Something about burgers.

After watching your escape video the below was in the recommended, It made for a difficult decision.
I don't know if she is in the video or not as I didn't watch it.
I just didn't understand how this was similar.
Edit, just watched the alternator video. Nice.
LOL.... once in a while I'll get thrown a weird one too. Mine has been filled with so many Titanium Welder vids lately... and I've been watching them. I haven't heard too many complaints about the job it does.
Thanks for watching the alternator vid, much appreciated!
I had someone post a message on my vacuum leak vid the other day. He's a German fellow, and told me that I "executed it wrong", then asked me for advice on the caps I bought.... then he deleted right after. Not too sure what he thought I did wrong, LOL. I mean... what else do you do besides add smoke in a vacuum source and plug off the t-body, etc.?

Seems like a great guy overall though.
A good mic is in the 200 dollar range. And then sometimes, like for me, the POS takes a **** on you. Had to use my phone all weekend again because the default mic in the GoPro is worse than my daughters old My Little Pony mic.
Whitey......I use this type mic on my GoPro, so I can point to an object and it drowns out anything behind it. Works with a drone too. We popped it onto his GP and it filter a load of noise out.
Oh, my talk of the alternator was the one JBrew threw up there. Going to the 89 garage today and see what's new there.

That reminds me of something I did at work.
When the recent hysteria started, all the office people were told to work from home and use the company Amazon account to get whatever you needed to do so.
I only needed a headset for our weekly planning video conference.
I bought this.
They work great.
I was the highlight of the first couple meetings. I would not turn off my camera.
I even put the cat ears on them.
I did buy another (more professional) set for customer meetings.
If you can't have a bit of fun at work, why bother.
@Buck0 has the latest Windows 10 update caused you any headaches?
I still have some XP PC's used to run equipment, and the file sharing and permissions between the two got royally screwed in this latest Win 10 update. I can get them to connect and talk if I disconnect the Win 10 box from the network, disconnect the mapped drive, plug it back into the network, then reconnect the drive. When both machines reboot, however, all hell breaks loose... it completely locks up 10 when that mapped drive is accessed.... shuts explorer.exe right down. SMB 1.0 is turned on, BTW.
Didn't think too much about it, but my computer made me (yes we were in a stalemate) uninstall VMWare when it updates.... seems like they are trying to choke out old software again. Hoping to get Win 10 updates for the PC's running XP now.... Depends on the manufacturer of the equipment and the software they run, I suppose. Otherwise, I guess they'll have to use a thumb drive to move files.

LMAO, that's hilarious.... my neighbor's kids have those. Waaaaaay shy people, so I mostly just wave and smile. But their teenagers walk around the 'hood with those.
You've heard of malicious compliance?
I call what I like to do Ludicrous Compliance.
I once got someone to lock themselves in their office twice.
When they moved into their office there was no key.
I stayed late and turned the **** around one day and then locked the door with the twist latch that was now on the outside when the door was closed.
Just needed to wait for victim to close their door for a private convo. Trap set. had to call someone to let them out. Dude just thought it was like that when he moved in.
I waited a few months and repeated. Weeks go by and trap sprung again. He blamed someone not me. We all had good laugh.
Door has new lock that he has key to now.
I would never do anything that would harm anyone. Just little things for fun.
