I have to wonder if the ongoing issue with this thread loading to the wrong place isn't because it's so long. Since it seems to annoy a lot of people, I wonder if a potential solution would be to lock this thread and start "Thinking II" or something.
Just throwing that out there....
As a data point, I've not once had a problem with the thread loading, pages not refreshing, or any other issues.
3rd datapoint, and speaking for this thread alone. I've had issues with "page advance" every so often over the last year on all devices. Not a huge annoyance yet.
We hit 107 today. It is 5:30 pm now and it's still 98. Guess I'm staying away from the garage tonight. Way too much time out there in the heat has me extremely sore!
Sold my aunt's 2019 impala w/ only 5,556 miles today, got $26,500 for it.
I drove it to the new owner's house and my uncle followed me.
Guy had a sweet 1970 Boss 302 Mustang in Grabber Green.
Really really nice, I should have grabbed a pic of it.
It is leaking power steering fluid, so he is going to call me next week to look at it.
So hopefully I'll get some pics.
Then my uncle was in a bind he had to take his Tahoe in for some warranty work and was going to drive the Impala. lol
He has his 69 Roadrunner GTX taken apart currently and can't drive it.
So, I followed him to drop it off and loaned him my truck.
I have moms Edge for sale if I need to go anywhere, tonight I took the bike.
Pics of the GTX
1969 Plum Crazy Purple, white top and interior, 440 commando, Pistol grip 4-spd. aftermarket wheels and tires.
Keeps talking about doing a stroker motor with aluminum heads.
Stock horsepower was 375 he is talking about 500-600.
Well, ya gotta love it when the car breaks down at home in the driveway. Rob my neighbor down the street got home from the Casino, shut the Lincoln off in the driveway and went in to grab something to eat. Came back out a little over an hour later, and it wouldn't start. He called me as he was getting the jumper cables out. Their Jeep was blocked in the garage with the 77 Grand Prix that has no exhaust. (2:10 am) lol So, I told him I would bring down my Batt. charger and it had a fast charge with an 80 amp boost for starting. Got down there and it was charged, so I told him to try and start it. Turns out the A/C compressor locked up and would not let the engine spin over to start. I came home and grabbed my serpentine belt tool kit and popped the belt off the alt. to let it start and move out of the way till tomorrow. He is in luck they make a by-pass pully for it for under 30 bucks.
So, one thing that's come to my attention over the past month is, The Eight Nine is leaking diff fluid. I saw it a couple of weeks ago, and when I crawled under there, I saw zero evidence of a leak. When I moved it again on Monday, there was fluid again. This time I was smarter and gave it a smell. It's definitely gear oil. I don't see any evidence to a pinion seal leak though.... this one is weird. I'm thinking that I might store this thing up in the air for the winter (set it on some wheels/tires) so I can get some stuff done underneath it. Although it's a very clean and solid car, it needs some cleanup done.
