Got the Hurst in... the good news is, I love the shorter throw. It's quite a bit like The Eight Nine now. And the car loves to run. Bad news is, it still wants to come out of second on higher rpm decel or down shift. Don't know what causes that.... but I'll talk to my Buddy.

If the weather is good, I might get the exhaust done next weekend.

Another very strange recovery that was not too far from me. Interestingly enough, this must have been pretty recent because a friend of a friend of mine posted pictures of this just yesterday. And the fact Ed says it is 35 degrees also indicates this video was filmed pretty recent. Wish I woulda known that they were so close.

Just mapped it out... 35 miles from me where they all gathered in the beginning (Silver Sage in Vernon).

Watched that one last night, boy was it lucky that rock was in the right place to catch him...

And can't believe Lizzy just walked out of there to get to her appointment, that looked miles back to the road even in a straight line...

I guess the dryer fix was a success, they left a message last night all happy that their dryer drys clothes 10 -15 minutes before the washer finishes. What's so special about that ? It has been taken them 2.5 - 3 hours to dry a load of cloths for quite awhile now. I suppose that can get old after awhile lol. Gas Solenoids were bad.

Yeah, that rock probably saved his life. I about pissed my pants when I saw him stick his arm out when it went over. So... I started doing comparisons of the pictures of the emergency/crash landing that just recently happened. It was a different plane. Both have the same stripes, but the recent plane has more windows that the plane Matt recovered. But I do know what wind storm he is talking about... that was the wind storm that brought the neighbors tree branches crashing onto my brand new roof.

Nice job Brew. Gas is something I don't know much about. My friend up the street came over for dinner last night. He was asking me about my garage heater. He wants to get one in his.

I just you tubed it....made it an easy fix.

Nah, well not totally anyway. There's a cool place close by, - https://www.repairclinic.com/ . The folks there are very knowledgeable and have their own channel on the tube. They have always had what I needed in stock.....no knock-off bs, it's a huge place....all appliance parts; been here for as long as I can remember.

The solenoids tested good cold but would soon fail after hitting them with the heat gun and cut off. So the dryer would only half azz dry the cloths, - which worsens over time.

Don't you have one of those ceiling mount Dawg furnaces in the garage ? Maybe that wasn't you....

That wind must of been crazy bad to take that plane down....then flip it over after it was grounded.

Oh it was that same storm, I thought that happened awhile ago. Well that makes sense, 60mph wind gusts could do it for sure.

It was 2 weeks after we got the new roof... I got the roof on about October 10th. So roughly a month ago.

I was looking up at the roof today.... those guys did one hell of a job. Since then I've had two more neighbors get new roofs, and they've had guys there for three days doing it. They're giving up their driveways for three days, and I guarantee they are paying more than I did.

Today I got all the leaves up off the lawn, then built a small make-shift bike storage shed (10' X 4' X 4'). Got the BBQ and yard furniture all put up too. On Monday I'm going to pick up my Dad's old snow blower that's only about 3 years old. He bought a new electric unit, and asked me if I want his old one. First thing I asked him was "is it a two stroke?". LOL. It's not - so I'm getting it. I'll give my Craftsman to my friend up the street.

I tried to go order some new LX tail light assemblies today - apparently LMR got pounded by Black Friday shoppers. So much "out of stock" stuff.

I am now finding excuses to go to the store.... The Wife said she was going to the store to get ice, LOL. I jumped right up and told her I'd go. Frankie needs me to drive him around. It runs soooo damn good. It's unbelievable how that bad trans bogged it down. So... yeah, we went to the store. When I came out, I had to take a pic.
