I wonder if the old rule about changing it after a year, regardless of mileage, is still really true. I can't find any evidence that it's not, so I keep doing it, but it sure seems like a waste, and at best questionable logic.
I think this year I'm going to send in a sample and see if they recommend extending it.
Totally depends upon how you drive it.
If you're short tripping then yes, change every year or sooner.
If you're allowing the vehicle to run full cycle when driven the majority of time...then it's not a problem.
The oil you use makes no difference here. It all contaminates as well when short tripping.
Guess I should of got my shots, I caught something, just a cough the last couple days. Nothing else, no fever, body aches, not exceptionally tired, not even a sore throat....just a damn cough. Other than that..feel fine. Kind of strange, I usually don't get this stuff.

I feel pretty good now... I've just been relaxing all day. Haven't taken a day to rest for a while now.

Probably a 9K truck in AK now too. He bought it 6 years ago, and prices have insanely increased since then - as I'm sure you're aware.
I hope you feel better soon. Sucks getting Old. :P I don't think I was sick even once in my my twenties and a couple times in my 30's. Now if I even get a little allergy congestion, it turns into a full blown sinus infection.
Well ****... my Wife just sent me a text that the A/C on the 2011 Escape is blowing hot air. Never had any issues with the 06.... other than the accident.
