EVA flashing red = EVAP incomplete. Readiness monitor is incomplete.

There's a red code "Eva" blinking. What does this mean?

That means your evaporative emissions system is throwing a "not ready" code, which probably just means you cleared codes in the recent past but haven't managed to drive the ridiculously precise drive route required for it to go ready yet. Someone else can weigh in on the route details.

My guess would be the evap system did not complete its test, or the test parameters were not met for the test.

I selected "erase" on the OBDII reader and then all of them were blinking and red. (From previous Green).
The tech and I were winging it for this job.

That's because you reset all the monitors again. Most will clear pretty quick. Catylist and EVAP are the slow ones if I remember right. Conditions have to be met first.

You can find those conditions at http://www.totalcardiagnostics.com/s...-driving-cycle

I don't care much for the regular, the chili cheese though..good stuff. I think they're Pepsi owned..or use to be anyway.

GRF - If you quit erasing, the monitors should clear on there own eventually if there's not a problem. No need to take action. It takes awhile...it's normal. Don't erase if you need to pass emissions in your state any time soon.

So just looking at the EVAP column. Basically, keep the speed steady at 45-65 mph for 10 minutes.
I can't make out the rest that comes after. (See below)

"Note, to initiate the monitor: TP MODE should =PT, EVAPDC must be >75%, and FLI must be between 15 and 85%

?? what's "FLI" and "TP Mode" ??

GR.

Stop resetting the monitors, let the truck do its thing and if there is a fault the light will come back on or you catch a pending code
