THAT is a different URL, but, it worked. I'll check in a day or few to see if it has any staying power. My first thought is that it is not a permanent immutable link. In any event, I stuck a set into my Amazon Cart, and copied that link. Here it is minus the tracking garbage.

Amazon Amazon
THANK YOU oHIo ! 😉

Crapola. *I* can see it, but the forum or ___ mutates it into a hidden URL behind Amazon's name. 😠
I'll try adding spaces.

Ok, that seems to have worked.

Now, to dealer, "parts shortages.'?" I spent 29 min looking thought this thread. Always had name remembering issues. But an AK guy, or some V well respected member, was asked to rejoin the mini-herd and fix .. "inventory issues," after retirement, as best I recall.

Stuff going out w/o billing, and/or, incoming w/o "proper receiving." I'd like to hear of one or two, canned and/or jailed.

Hahaha.... it's all water under the bridge now, right?

I was talking with Ron on Friday about trying to find a SCREW with a blown motor/trans.... anything to make it a mechanic special. Then maybe using the old 97 for a donor. I really want a SCREW. We took the ol' SCAB to look at Christmas lights, and it's not as comfy back there as I'd like it to be. I dunno.... just a random thought.

Yeah - But; as the saying goes...
You have a somewhat secure spot for tools. I read of a guy who repackaged his garbage in cereal boxes etc, and put it in grocery bags in the bed. After shopping in the grocery, Voila! His bed was empty, his garbage, gone. But you have an inside rain proof spot for griceries. You can pick up friends (or InLaws,) in the rain, but no one wants to bum a lift on a 3-day weekend trip with you and her on a fun - run to Tahoe. You STILL have a length that parks in SF street parallel spots, yet, a 6.5 ft bed, which holds 4x8's with the gate down, or you in an emergency. A SCab may be a scab, and you may pick at it here and there but it will only itch, not bleed. Be thou grateful for thy small[er] misfortune. 😏 It rules like a Swiss Army Knife...! Like...

"We love you - GOODBYE!!!"

I don't care much about anyone but my kids riding back there. We're basically 5 adults that go together all the time.

The 97 looks good. That what it hinges on really...what you could get for it as is. Might be further ahead selling what you have and purchasing what you want....or need.. rather.

Unless you're looking to expand you're vidjo library for the channel lol.

I subscribed, to see the next video he promises. So good, though I had to undo some stuff that my phone uses... useD, to block subscriptions, et al, I did unblock the various settings. My first subscription. Nine.Eight Garage. As Dobie Gillis would say, "Good stuff, Maynard."

And sometimes a professional is called for - but I much prefer a craftsperson. Just sayin'. 😏

I actually found a SCREW last night.... bad 5.4 in it. He wants 1K for it, but it's a 2WD. I don't know that I want that big of a project. For now, it's just one of those "what if" things that may go somewhere.

I'm not sure you can body swap that very easily. Frame, T-bars , tanks are different, SCREW vs SCAB. The frame being the major factor.
