Had another appointment today, just to follow up. This gal told me about 20 percent of the saliva tests are producing a false negative. She thinks I do have it. Neither her or work said I need to retest, so at some point I will do an antibody test.
Also, the U of U has not seen any flu cases yet this year. So I feel lost.
Yes, that's the same I was told when my sister tested with a false positive. The false is good for going both ways with that test.
They may not have seen any flu cases but they have seen some pneumonia according to the Utah public health website.
EDIT: FWIW I came across this info yesterday and it's source is blamed on SLC smog and firefighters fighting the wild fires. Then again you've said you don't have any respiratory problems.

There are a lot of people that blame SLC for the winter smog. If you have even part of a brain and watch what happens with these fires, you can tell it comes in from CA. Not saying we don't contribute, but we definitely get a lot of help from those butt holes. It comes through Logan and down to SLC.
I did get a pneumonia shot about 4 years ago... maybe 5. I also want to get one this year. As soon as I am passed all this, I've got a few things to get ironed out with shots and an antibody test.

The firefighter thing was from CBS SLC. The firefighters get pneumonia from all the smoke they breath in and then bring it home with them. I don't know anything about the smog in SLC except what you've said, the pictures that have been posted and what I have now have read from U. of Utah health pulmonary services and Salt Lake Tribune.
We've gotten some rain the last couple of days which has cleared up the air quality here but my interest in this is from what I've gone through and followed. The air quality issues has gone farther than the east coast now and is effecting Europe. I've never gotten any flu or pneumonia shots and I'm rethinking that now.
Not much else for my tired azz to do, so I flipped through some pics I've taken. This is the separator plate for a 4R70W. I think these are the cracks that cause a 1-2 flare. Might be the 3-4 though.
Welp to update all of you, the alpine power pack amp is in, pac steering wheel control module is in. And everything is working! So happy to test it out on the 2 hour drive home tomorrow. So far I’m happy with the alpine amp, it was decently plug and play (more like solder and plug) but for $110 I couldn’t turn it down.
the next project is making the plug and play backup camera. The only plug and play part will be the power and ground wires but at least I won’t be having to screw up my original harness for it.
