On the other hand, there's been only one case of re-infection that I've seen reported, so there's that. Ultimately, though, we just don't know, which is why, even though I have the antibodies, I continue to do what's necessary to be safe. Feel better, Whitey!

Last I saw were three. One in Nevada, Belgium and the Netherlands. Also from what I've read, immunologists say the virus isn't old enough to know anything. Will the antibodies be like typhoid and have a limited life with diminishing returns? There's also what's going on now with the polio vaccine. The inert form of the virus that's been used for making the vaccine has mutated and there's a polio outbreak in kids in Chad, The Sudan and Cameroon. It's from taking the vaccine that they were infected. Vaccines are a fairly recent innovation and immunologists are questioning now if any vaccine is or can be permanent because of what's happened with polio. They may all eventually mutate and become active again.

Obviously most of us won't live long enough to be concerned with some of this but it is interesting and informs us of some of the limits to what we believed was a cure.

And yes, Get better White.

White, I don't know if there's a consistent answer but Russel Westbrook was quarantined for 2 weeks from he "basketball bubble" when he came down with it. Nothing I saw to indicate any kind of insurance time or just to be sure time.

I don't really remember specifically, White, as it was February that I had it. I was down for about 10 days, but seem to recall about 5 of those being the worst. The aches and exhaustion are what drug on longer. I never had the shortness of breath or bad cough.

Yeah, 2 weeks is because that's how long you are contagious.

Thank you...

I do have some good news though. I am NEGATIVE! Its got to be the flu. So, fellers, this round of the flu this year is brutal. Go get your shot if you haven't already!!

I am going to eat then schedule another virtual visit and see what I need to do now. I did get another fever last night at about midnight.

That's good news White, I would of been freakin when the fever hit, if it was me. Would of thought for sure I had it.

Ohio you had it early didn't yuh, before it was considered a epidemic ? Or was it right at the start ?

The Family and I have been very fortunate so far. Step father passed away a few months back, unexpectedly, but it had nothing to do with the virus.

Feel better White, sounds like a mean flu.

Had another appointment today, just to follow up. This gal told me about 20 percent of the saliva tests are producing a false negative. She thinks I do have it. Neither her or work said I need to retest, so at some point I will do an antibody test.

Also, the U of U has not seen any flu cases yet this year. So I feel lost.
